Yesterday, , , and ICM released landmark guidelines to transform the way postpartum haemorrhage is prevented, diagnosed, and treated. Every year, nearly 45,000 mothers die from this complication — most of these deaths are preventable. With earlier detection and faster intervention, more women can survive childbirth and return home safely to their families.
