📢 Workshop on “Learning Health System to Support Value Based Care for management of NCDs in Thailand ” 📢

Participants: 100 participants from 5 provinces (6 hospitals from Chiang Mai: Mae Wang, San Pa Tong, Hot, Hang D**g, Chai Prakan, and Chiang Dao; and 2 hospitals from Lamphun: Mae Tha and Pa Sang, Lamphang, Prae and Nan).

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaisiri Angkurawaranon, Assistant Dean and Head of the Global Health Research Center, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, reported on the project. He addressed that the researchers have decided to conduct two projects simultaneously as they involve the same target group of NCD patients, and the activities can be developed and learned together. The event participants comprised 100 people, including doctors, nurses, public health professionals, pharmacists, computer scientists, and elderly representatives from these five provinces

This event featured guest speakers from the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, and several esteemed experts:
Dr. Supatra Sriwanichakorn – President of the General Practitioner/Family Medicine Association of Thailand and the Thai Academy of Family Physicians.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Praew Kotruchin – Lecturer, Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, and member of the Hypertension Association of Thailand.
Dr. Orawan Quansri – Lecturer, Department of Public Health Administration, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University.
For 1 April’s session, speakers from Surat Thani Province, led by Dr. Akapol Phisarn, Director of Ban Ta Khun Hospital in Surat Thani, and his team shared their insights on Remission Services at hospital and health-promoting hospital levels. This is a great opportunity to learn from southern regions, including Ban Ta Khun Hospital, Ban Na Derm Hospital, and the Health Promoting Hospital of Khao Phang Subdistrict.
