SEE ALL THAT YOU ARE!

Many of us, as a result of our education and upbringing, seem to be more easily drawn to a negative perception of ourselves, as opposed to a positive, compassionate, loving one.
In fact it is quite an easy path to follow as well as a dangerous slope leading to toxic habits and self destructive inner talk.

It is really up to us to embark on a self love journey and to fight this negative trend of thoughts.

While part of this process consists in paying more attention to the way we see ourselves and speak about ourselves, another part is letting go of what other people think and say, trust that you are enough as you are... In fact, one of the most liberating feeling you will have in your life is when you realize that not everyone is going to like you no matter how hard you try.

The fourth chakra, also known as the Heart chakra or Anahata, is the center of love and connection. A strong, balanced heart chakra allows you to live freely and openly from a place of compassion. However, a blocked heart chakra can interfere with your happiness and relationships in many ways.

Emotionally speaking, a blocked heart chakra manifests as a lack of love and compassion. Symptoms include: loneliness, shyness and social anxiety, being overly critical towards yourself and others, holding grudges, inability to give or receive freely, suspicion and fear, especially in friendships and romantic relationships
A blockage in the heart chakra can also lead to physical symptoms like poor circulation, heart troubles, and respiratory illness like asthma.

If you consistently have an issue with these conditions in your life, clearing your heart chakra may help you recover from them and lead a healthy life, both emotionally and physically.

Here are steps you can take to restore balance.

Wearing green clothing or jewelry and lighting green candles can help open and balance it.

WORRY BLOCKS YOUR BLESSINGS...
PRACTICE GETTING EXCITED.

We all have times we worry. Some people more than others. Worry is ok unless it turns into a (bad) habit... My purpose here is not to undermine the legitimacy of fearing that something could go wrong as, to most people and for many very understandable reasons, it feels like a very real and possible threat. But this threat can disturb inner peace and make life feel like one continuous nightmare. When we worry we often lack trust that life is going to be kind. Worry also can occur when you fear a bad experience can be repeated.

Fortunately we also learn from past experiences and grow into simply trusting things will work out.

Now raising yourself from worry to excitement is another story. But again it can be done.

PRACTICE GETTING EXCITED
Being excited and worried at the same time is simply not possible. So to practice getting excited may help getting out of the over worrying cycle. Personally, the "fake it till you make it" technique resonates poorly with me. I find it very difficult to pretend to be something unless my heart is in it. However, it doesn't hurt to actively look for and find things to either be or get excited about. It doesn’t matter so much what you get excited about. It just matters you reach that state of excited. Your state of excitement can, like a muscle be practiced and strengthened...

As a preamble, it feels important to acknowledge that crystal healing is nowadays a bit of a gray area with conflicted views. Naysayers point to the lack of scientific data. SENDING LOVE AND REMINDING YOU THAT WE ALL ARE THE SAME IN SO MANY WAYS...

To be totally honest, those three sentences do not hit very far from home as far as I am concerned.
I have been on a self healing journey for numerous years and still am in many ways. Through time I have learnt to embrace my past traumas and to accept the person I am as a result. I have somehow found the inspiration and energy to transform the past, use it for the best, not only to continue healing myself but also to help others, giving Reiki and counseling sessions. No matter how scarred and broken I may feel at times (when uncovered layers of trauma show up), I find comfort in knowing that, no matter what, all that I have been through serves a positive purpose.

To this I would like to add this text I came upon on internet:
"Healers are not perfect. They are actually far
from it. Healers are people who have stared
into the face of pain and suffering, and found
themselves staring right back. They create
themselves though all of the adversity, and in
the process, inspire others to do the same.

SO WHAT IS LIVING?

What is our purpose in life? What do we want out of life? What is a meaningful life?

There are as many answers as there are individuals... And yet, when we set life goals for ourselves, no matter how different they are, isn't there an underlying and common denominator that links us all?

To me, life and its unpredictable and repeated challenges is a perpetual source of growth, sometimes through joyful moments, sometimes through painful ones. Could it be that the sole purpose of life is to allow us to grow in all dimensions of our being?

DISCIPLINE IS THE STRONGEST FORM OF SELF LOVE.

The underlying fact is that self-discipline does not necessarily need to be anything like masochism or self-hatred. On the contrary, the practice of putting off a momentary pleasure for a more rewarding future showcases the highest form of self-love for your future self.

I know, we all cringe at the idea of a routine. However, the solution to our struggle with discipline lies in identifying the small decisions/actions that we repeat habitually.
In the becoming and remaining disciplined game, the key is understanding that small habits lead to big results...

For instance, recently, finding physical balance and ridding myself from constant body pain, has become a priority of mine. In order to do so, I must set aside intentional time to practice daily my articular mobility. Considering my circumstances and the other activities I wish or need to maintain (meditation, calisthenics training, social media daily posts, my Reiki practice, some social life...) morning time is the best time to do so. This means that I must get up earlier, somewhere in the vicinity of 5:30am... This also means that I must (because sleep is a non-negotiable for me) be in bed most days of the week relatively early.

The ugly truth is that you can’t do everything. You have to say no. Period. By no means am I saying that you shouldn’t enjoy life and live under a rock, but again, circumstances. It all boils down to how bad you want it...

BOUNDARIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO A HEALTHY LIFE

BOUNDARIES SERVE TWO MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Boundaries tell others how you want to be treated (what’s okay and what’s not okay). Boundaries protect you from being mistreated.
- Boundaries create a healthy separation (physical and emotional) between you and others. They allow you to have your own personal space and privacy, your own feelings, thoughts, needs, and ideas. And they allow you to be yourself rather than an extension of someone else or who someone else wants you to be.

BENEFITS OF SETTING BOUNDARIES ARE:
1. More compassion.
According to Brene Brown, Ph.D., people with strong boundaries are the most compassionate. Despite people's first reaction, boundaries aren’t mean or wrong. It is kind and respectful to tell people what’s okay and what’s not okay with you. This sets clear expectations.

2. Greater assertiveness.
Boundaries are a way of learning how to assert your needs. In order to set boundaries, you need to pay attention to how you’re feeling and what you need. You can then assertively ask others to treat you in ways that meet your needs.

3. Your needs are met.
We all have emotional and physical needs and we all deserve to have our needs met (some we meet ourselves and some are met in relationships). When you speak up and ask for what you need, you’re much more likely to get it!

4. Less anger and resentment.
Without boundaries, we tend to overcommit, do things that conflict with our values, spend precious time on things that aren’t important to us. We’re often mistreated. And as a result, we end up angry and resentful. But when we set limits, speak up for ourselves, and communicate our needs and expectations clearly, we’re less likely to feel angry or resentful.

5. Feeling of peace and safety.
Boundaries protect us. They protect us from physical and emotional harm. This includes physical violence, unwanted touch, verbal abuse, and manipulation. Boundaries also provide emotional freedom from self-criticism and second-guessing yourself.

Healthy relationships involve honesty, trust, respect and open communication between partners. They take effort and compromise from both people. There is no imbalance of power. Partners respect each other’s independence, can make their own decisions without fear of retribution or retaliation

CHARACTERISTICS OF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
- Respect for privacy and space. You don’t have to be with your partner 24/7.
- Your partner encourages you to spend time with friends without them, and to participate in activities that you enjoy.
- You feel comfortable expressing your opinions and concerns to your partner.
- Your feel physically safe and your partner doesn’t force you to have s*x or to do things that make you feel uncomfortable.
- Your partner respects your wishes and feelings and you can compromise and negotiate when there are disagreements or conflicts.

THE FOUNDATION OF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP INCLUDES:
- Boundaries: You and your partner are able to find ways to meet each other’s’ needs in ways that you both feel comfortable with.
- Communication: You and your partner can share your feelings, even when you don’t agree, in a way that makes the other person feel safe, heard, and not judged.
- Trust: Building trust can take time and allows couples to be vulnerable with one another knowing that they can rely on the other person.
- Consent: Most commonly used when you’re being s*xually active, giving consent means that you are okay with what is happening, and that no one is forcing you or guilting you into doing anything that you don’t want to do. Consent can be given and taken back at any time, and giving consent once does not mean you automatically give consent in the future.

Please keep in mind that in some abusive relationships, trying to enforce boundaries, honest communication, trust, and other healthy behaviors could put your safety at risk. Remember, abuse is about power and control and someone who is abusive might not want to give up their control over you.

Life is challenging in so many ways... At times, when our energy runs low, it is easy to stop trusting our innate ability to overcome whatever challenge comes our way and to lose connection with ourself, with our inner strength and power.

So, how do we regain a sense of personal empowerment? The following tips can help you achieve self-empowerment.

Develop and maintain a positive attitude & mindset
Building a positive mindset starts with taking responsibility for what happens in your life rather than giving in to external factors and adopting a victim attitude. With this in mind, allow yourself to see your strengths and weaknesses, pursue your passions, and trust in your natural abilities.

Set reasonable goals
Measurable, achievable goals are an important component of self-empowerment, and understanding how to set them can help you feel good about your achievements.

On the physical side, the third chakra governs the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, colon, muscles, joints.
Physical imbalance symptoms may include: lack of appetite, improper processing of nutrients, constipation, Irritable bowl syndrome, eating disorders, ulcers, diabetes, pancreas, liver or colon diseases.
