We all will age — and as Dr. Arun Sharma says, in Ayurveda there is no such thing as “anti-aging.”
But how we age is what truly matters. 🌿

It goes far beyond a healthy diet.
Ayurveda teaches that aging begins in the tissues, in the cellular environment, and the mind plays an essential role as well.

This knowledge is thousands of years old — Ayurveda is the world’s first true well-aging and longevity medicine.

In our upcoming masterclass, Dr. Arun Sharma and I explore what real well-aging means in today’s world and how Ayurveda guides us through it gracefully.

Don’t miss it.

I would love to share this very special moment — a true breakthrough with my client in our last 1:1 session here on Koh Phangan. 🌴

Even though most of my work is now online, I still love guiding clients on the island, taking them into nature where perspective shifts come so naturally.

This client lives with type 1 diabetes. In our session, we spoke about Āchāra Rasāyana — the 20 rejuvenating behaviours described in Ayurveda for living a better life.

We explored the first 10 together, and I invited her to choose two to consciously live with during the week.

She chose:
✨ Truthfulness (Satya)
✨ Peacefulness (Śānti)

In our next session, she shared her realisation:
“Before, I was fighting my diabetes, injecting insulin with resistance. Through truthfulness, I shifted to I have diabetes. From this acceptance, I began injecting with peace.”

The result: her body started to accept the insulin better, she needed less, her mood lifted, and she felt more connected, present, and intuitive.

These are the moments that touch me deeply. 💛
This is the power of Ayurveda’s behavioural medicine — healing not by fighting, but by living with awareness, truth, and peace.

If you feel called to experience this kind of work:
✨ Message me to book a free 20-minute discovery chat so we can get to know each other.

I wrote another Ayurveda article for Bliss & Beyond magazine- Phuket edition.

In today’s fast paced world, many of us rush through our mornings, often neglecting the opportunity to set a peaceful tone for the day.

Establishing a self-care routine not only nurtures physical health, but also mental clarity and emotional balance, especially in a busy urban setting.

The article is about the Ayurvedic concept of daily routines - Dinacharya. A concept not only for the saints of India.

Ayurveda is for anybody, anywhere. And, would more people live according to the Ayurvedic knowledge, we would have more peace and less illness. 👌 Om shanti

Thank you . 🙏

There is so much fear about death.

After losing another friend this week, I contemplated on death and realised:

I am not afraid to die,
I am afraid not taking proper care of myself
I am afraid of letting fear and excuses rob me of joy and vitality living this life to the fullest.
I am afraid to postpone because of uncertainty and running out of time.

Taking care of ourselves, means taking self-responsibility. We always have a choice. And I believe our health - physically and mentally - deserves our full attention.

What do you choose?
Postponing or taking action?
Taking action is self-responsibility - valuing yourself.

Iron Deficiency – The Ayurvedic Perspective 🌿

Did you know iron deficiency is known as Pandu Roga in Ayurveda, caused by imbalances in Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue) and weak digestion (Agni)? Symptoms like fatigue, paleness, hair fall, or dizziness could be your body signaling a need for support.

Ayurveda offers natural ways to manage it through remedies like Dhatri Loha, Lauh Bhasma, and lifestyle changes that enhance absorption and balance the body.

📖 Next Post: My personal journey with iron deficiency and what helped me to push up my iron.

💡 Pro Tip: Don’t guess your iron levels - get a blood test or learn a little self test in my next video.

🌧️𝐀𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 🌿

Monsoon is considered the unhealthiest season of the year in Ayurveda. The combination of high humidity and wetness weakens our Agni (digestive fire), making it harder to digest food. This damp environment doesn’t just cause mold in our homes but also in our bodies, leading to ama (toxins) accumulation.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬:
• Congestion, mucus buildup (head, nose, lungs)
• Weak digestion
• Stiffness, joint pain, heaviness, tiredness. High risk for infections

Most people stick to their usual routines year-round, which worsens these imbalances. On tropical islands, I often see people starting their day with cold smoothie bowls, eating yogurt, or going for frequent oil massages - that’s not good in monsoon and all of which block the body’s channels and create more mucus.

The result? More sickness, infections and unhappy hormones.

🌿 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡:

• Focus on daily detox routines: Nasyam (nasal cleansing), steam, sauna, and exercise.
• Choose light, warm foods and eat less—avoid heavy, cold, and damp foods.
• Stick to early, light dinners and avoid overeating.
• Swap coffee and alcohol for digestive teas with ginger, tulsi, fennel or cumin.

Your immune system, hormones, and overall well-being will thank you for these seasonal adjustments.

If your LIVER is unhealthy or sluggish, it can’t effectively regulate hormones like estrogen, leading to imbalances. 🔄 The liver plays a crucial role in managing estrogen levels.

🌪️ Experiencing mood swings, weight changes, digestive issues, brain fog, or fatigue? These could be signs of estrogen imbalance due to liver dysfunction. 🚨

🥦🏃‍♀️ Taking care of your liver with a healthy diet, regular exercise, and avoiding toxins, especially alcohol, is vital.

🍇 A liver cleanse is crucial, especially if you suffer from hormonal imbalances. 💪

What is Ayurveda?

The “science of life” or longevity, this holistic medicine system comes from India and has been around for more than 5000 years. It is believed to be the oldest healing science in existence, forming the foundation of others that came after. In this personalized health practice, the patient is empowered to become a student of their Dosha or mind-body type (there are three: Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and arrive at their own self-healing through guidance and knowledge of the optimal diet, exercise/yoga practice, supplements, herbal medicine, treatments, mantras and other lifestyle choices for that type. Our health is personal and the plan to achieve optimal balance health is equally personalized in practice. Above all else, Ayurveda believes that nothing has more power to heal and transform the body than the mind itself. In Western medicine, the focus on physical symptoms has its place but can also disconnect itself from everything else, namely our thoughts, emotions, feelings, and the list goes on (Let’s just put it this way – would a doctor ever recommend forest bathing and hugging trees? Probably not :-) ).
