You can call this one Active Wall Bridge or Wall-Supported Spinal Articulation.
Anyway it’s wonderful exercise!
Here is why:
🧡It’s a great gentle way to mobilize the spine
The wall gives stability, so your body can relax and explore small, controlled movements. It wakes up the spine without pushing or forcing.
🧡It’s a wonderful self-massage technique for the back muscles and shoulder blade area.
🧡Strengthens and wakes up the legs. Pressing into the wall gives you stability and also teaches the legs to support spinal movement in a coordinated way.
🧡Encourages better breath awareness
As the spine articulates, the ribcage naturally expands. The deeper breath in this position, supports relaxation and down regulation of the nervous system.
🧡Builds core awareness and teaches you to work with accuracy and coordination.
What can I say it simple and beneficial!
Enjoy it 🧡❤️
