On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Development Committee met at the BHF/SMRU Office in Mae Ramat, Tak Province, to review key updates and plans for the year ahead.
The Meeting opened with remarks from the Mae Ramat District Chief, Mr. Parinya Sairoj, followed by a warm welcome from the SMRU director, Prof. Francois Nosten. Representatives from BHF/SMRU & Mae Ramat Hospital then shared updates on public health activities, including the TB situation in Tak Province and Mae Ramat district, the SMRU TB village services, maternal and child health care, immunization among migrant populations, malaria prevention & control activities, and community engagement initiatives.
The committee also discussed the funding situation for operations in 2026, plans for 2026, and a proposal for consideration and other matters. The meeting concluded with closing remarks, celebrating the ongoing collaboration to strengthen health services and community development along the Thai-Myanmar border in Tak province. .....................................................................
