Thai Optical Group Public Company Limited (TOG), a leading manufacturer and distributor of ophthalmic lenses, based in Thailand, has donated THB 212,000 to Thammasat University Hospital.

Ms. Siriporn Pholuayporn, TOG Head of HR, presented the contribution to Associate Professor Dr. Thananya Lorkanuwatsethian, Assistant Deputy Director of Health Services, who graciously accepted it, on behalf of the hospital.

This latest initiative reflects TOG’s continuing strong commitment not only to business growth, but also to creating sustainable value for society, by contributing to the improvement of healthcare and quality of life for all.

Our TOG Sustainability Award–winning engineers had the privilege of joining Specsavers for an inspiring tour through their manufacturing sites and retail stores.

The experience gave our team a rare chance to walk through the full Specsavers value chain — from lens casting in our factories to seeing how those very lenses are transformed into personalised eyewear and delivered directly into customers’ hands.

What impressed us most is that Specsavers are not just in the business of selling glasses. Their meticulous in-store eye tests are a real trust builder in the healthcare industry — showing customers that their vision and wellbeing come first. Every step of the in-store journey, from the first welcome to the final product handover, has been carefully designed with care and efficiency. On 27 August 2025, Mr. Torn Pracharktam, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Optical Group (TOG), had the honour of visiting Mr. Doug and Dame Mary Perkins, the legendary founders of Specsavers, at their global headquarters in Guernsey.
