🔵The vaccine is recommended for person aged 4-60 years old who lived in dengue risk area.
🔵Efficacy to prevent dengue infection is around 80%. And it's efficacy to prevent hospitalization due to dengue is around 90.4%.

🔵Possible side effect: fever, inflammation of injected site.

🔴What Is Herpes Zoster?

Herpes zoster, known as shingles, is caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), the same virus responsible for chickenpox.

🔴What are the symptoms?

Symptoms often appear before the rash and usually affect only one side of the body. The disease progresses through stages. Early symptoms, which can occur days or weeks before a rash, include pain, burning, tingling, or itching on one side of the body, along with possible fever, headache, and fatigue. During the acute phase, a red rash with fluid-filled blisters emerges along a nerve. These blisters typically crust over within 7 to 10 days and resolve within 2 to 4 weeks. In some cases, nerve pain (zoster sine herpete) occurs without a rash.

🔴Prevention.

Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent shingles and its complications. The CDC (Center of Disease Control) recommends two doses of the recombinant zoster vaccine (Shingrix) for healthy adults aged 50 and older. It's also recommended for immunocompromised adults aged 19 and older. Vaccination is effective even if you've had shingles or an older vaccine version.
