🖤 KD Qi deficiency in Chinese medicine.

Symptoms are usually as follows: chronic low back aches, chronic knee pain, fatigue, amenorrhea, low back aches at during menstruation, incontinence, frequent urination, enuresis (getting up often at night to urinate), premature ej*******on, nocturnal emission, a pale tongue and deep-weak pulse (especially at the rear position).

One of the reasons of not getting enough deep sleep is due to left nostril being blocked. Left nostril can become blocked when the body is reacting through inflammation to either environmental stress or incorrect diet as well as late night dining. Going back to sleep is made easier if one breathes in solely from left nostril. Same trick works if you are stressed out. Breathe in deep into left nostril. If nose is blocked, perform fire breathe a few times to unblock nose first.

The left nostril represents the lunar, subconscious energies of the body, while right nostril the solar, conscious energies. When the Buddha passed away, he lay down on his right side and covered his right nostril so he could breathe easily into the left.

"Traditionally the position generally recommended for dying is to lie down on the right side, taking the position of "the sleeping lion," which is the posture in which Buddha died. The left hand rests on the left thigh; the right hand is placed under the chin, closing the right nostril. The legs are stretched out and very slightly bent. On the right side of the body are certain subtle channels that encourage the "karmic wind" of delusion.[1] Lying on them in the sleeping lion's posture, and closing the right nostril, blocks these channels and facilitates a person's recognition of the luminosity when it dawns at death. It also helps the consciousness to leave the body through the aperture at the crown of the head, as all the other openings through which it could leave are blocked.[2]"

Suffer from cold extremities? No worries... try this:

Before going to bed, boil artemesia 艾草 and sichuan pepper 花椒 together, pour inside of a plastic basin, wait for water to cool down a bit (but should still be super hot), and rest your feet inside the hot water for half an hour. Massage kidney 1 point. Try it every day until symptoms disappear.

You will sleep like a baby and won't suffer from cold hands, feet ever again. Also very good technique to keep immune system healthy and increase resistence to colds/pathogens/flus.

Tips for removing dampness from the body in order to improve digestive function of spleen and stomach:

Recipe:
Chinese yam (淮山)
Lotus seed (蓮子)
Euryale ferox (茨實
) Poria (雲苓/茯苓)

Wash all the ingredients and place in a pot. Fill with enough water to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil then simmer on a low heat for two to three hours.

Tea recipe:
Coix seed (薏米)
Red bean water
Chrysanthemum (optional)

This drink has detoxifying and antipyretic properties. Place in a tea bag or tea sieve. Keep steeped in boiling water and drink throughout the day.

Another good recipe for removing dampness: 茯苓, 芡实, 薏仁(炙)+ 红豆

Put these inside a rice cooker and mix with daily rice to make rice porridge.
