BRINGING HOPE........

In the slums we visit, at times, we can hear loud laughter of children. Other days are quiet and heavy. But every visit reminds us why we are there. We do not go because we have all the answers. We go because we believe every person matters.
As usual we spent time with people, listening, praying, encouraging, and simply being present. Sometimes it is helping with practical needs. Sometimes it is sitting on a step and hearing someone’s story. The conditions can be hard, and resources are limited, but dignity and love are never limited. We see strength in the mothers, resilience in the children, and hope that continues to rise even in difficult circumstances.
We don't go to impress or to post perfect moments. Because at times we will not take a photo for privacy reasons. What matters most are the relationships being built and the trust that grows slowly over time.

Hand to Hand exists to walk alongside, not above. To serve with humility. To love without conditions.

LITTLE ACHIEVERS

This week in Preschool we explored the letter K and the Thai letter ข (Khor Khai), while learning all about “My Body.” The children practiced recognizing sounds and shapes in both Thai and English, building early literacy skills in a fun and engaging way. Our Bible focus was “I am loved by God,” reminding each child that they are wonderfully made and deeply valued. Through songs, movement, hands-on activities, and gentle guidance, we continue creating a safe and joyful environment where little ones grow in confidence, curiosity, and kindness. Preschool for us is not just about letters and lessons, but about laying a strong foundation for learning and helping each child know they are loved.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine’s Day is often about flowers, chocolates, and special dinners. But at Hand to Hand, we are reminded that love is much bigger than one day and much bigger than romance. Love is showing up. Love is listening. Love is teaching, encouraging, feeding, coaching, and believing in someone when they don’t yet believe in themselves. Every day we see love in action through our Adult School students who are working hard toward a better future, through our youth who are learning teamwork on the football field, through our English classes where confidence grows word by word, and through the many hands that come together to support families in need.
To our partners, volunteers, schools, and friends who stand with us, thank you. Your kindness makes a real difference in the lives of our young people and families.

This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate a love that serves, a love that gives, and a love that stays committed long after the flowers fade.

SCHOOL IS COOL

This week at Hand to Hand Adult School, our young adults continued working toward their education in a program recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education. Classes are held one day each week at our housing location, making it possible for students to prepare for their official exams toward a high school certificate. We are proud of their commitment and determination as they continue building a stronger future for themselves.

There is a yearly event here in Pattaya called Pattaya Praise Churches, organizations, and believers from all over come together for one purpose: to worship our Lord. This year we had the privilege of preparing food for the opening event. What an honour it was to serve in this way.
It was an awesome time seeing people come together in faith, encouraging one another and building each other up. That’s what it’s all about.

We don’t compete.
We collaborate.
We are better together.

When the body of Christ stands united serving side by side, something powerful happens. Walls come down, Hearts are strengthened. And Jesus is lifted high.

Grateful to be part of what God is doing in Pattaya.

A WIN FOR COMMUNITY

Regents International School has been a long time community partner of ours here at Hand To Hand. When they shared the need for pampers for the families we serve, the response was incredible. As you can see in the photos, the call went out and people answered in a big way. We received so many pampers that we literally ran out of space in our vehicle. It was completely full.

Thank you Regents School for being a true friend and partner in the pursuit of helping those in need. Together, we are making a real difference.

Our USA team joined us for our weekly English class, and as always, we had fun and learned so much together.
In our class, we are not just learning words. We are building the confidence to actually use what we have learned. For some of us, speaking English is scary. But our teachers gently encourage us to try, even when it feels uncomfortable. And little by little, we are starting to. After every lesson, we play games that help reinforce what we learned that day. Learning becomes something we enjoy, not something we fear.

Keep learning. NEVER stop.

Another Saturday and our youth continue learning how to play instruments. They are progressing and soon they will be playing together. You can see the excitement as they learn and actually make music. Thank you Pastor Sawang and team from, Victory International Church Pattaya, for investing your time into our youth. They are the next generation of worship leaders. The way they lead tomorrow is being shaped by how we guide, teach, and encourage them today.
Thank you to all the music teachers involved. Thank you for your time and dedication.

One Day - One Goal
Yesterday our Hand to Hand youth had the privilege of joining One Day One Goal at St. Andrews International School Green Valley.

Two large vans arrived and we filled them with excited young players, ready for a full day of football and just a time together.
We didn’t come home with bronze, silver, or gold.
But we did come home with a participation medal and something even more meaningful.
Memories. New friendships. Old friendships renewed.
And just being together on the fields.
There were a few schools represented there that work alongside Hand to Hand in different ways to help in the work we do day to day. Seeing everyone cheering, playing, and encouraging one another made the day that much more fun.

Thank you St. Andrews school for inviting our youth from Hand to Hand.
