Check out this transformation! We built storm window frames on the inside of these cool old windows. I installed the first storm window this morning. The old, broken storm windows were housed in aluminum frames mounted on the outside, and hid the true beauty of the iron windows. Earlier this summer we had removed the outer storm windows to re-glaze and paint the iron windows.

Water damage to plaster repaired. This took three coats of plaster with 24 hours of dry time between each coat.

Here’s our latest transformation. We painted the wooden cabinets, table and chairs, creating another new brighter kitchen, located in Grosse Pointe Park.
