Do you know Pilates is different from other form of exercises? Why and how different?
There’re 3 main reasons I can share to you.
1. Pilates focus on a fewer repetitions. Originally Joseph Pilates focused only 3-5reps based on mindfulness, including proper, safe, complete muscle control and effective outcomes.
2. Pilates is precision movements that work with concentration and control as you move and breath with exercises on specific orders and specific equipments.
3. Comprehensive Trained Instructors to be a Pilates Instructor we must pass thru 600+ hours trained of every equipment. It’s involved observation on more experience Pilates Instructors, practice teaching and physical practice.
As a Pilates Instructor we could not stop improving ourselves either in Physical, Mental or Knowledge. To be able to teach Pilates we must understand the essential of it before we train our students/clients. 🤎
