As this year comes to a close, I’ve been sitting with everything it’s held - both the heavy and the beautiful.

Running a small business isn’t easy. This year came with real challenges, not just behind the scenes of islanatural, but on a personal level too. There were moments of doubt, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Moments where continuing felt hard, and resilience had to be chosen again and again.

And yet - this year also reminded me why islanatural exists in the first place.
What has carried us through hasn’t been perfection or ease, but community. Every single ounce of support has mattered more than you know. Every market purchase, every online order, every recommendation to a friend, every time you spoke our name in rooms we weren’t in - those moments are the quiet magic that keeps a small business alive.

Because of you, islanatural has grown immensely this year. Not just in products or numbers, but in meaning. In reach. In purpose. And I am so deeply proud of that.
I’m proud of what we’ve built together. I’m proud that islanatural continues to be rooted in care, intention, and honesty. And I’m endlessly grateful to every single person who chose to support a small, heart-led brand in a world that often makes that choice harder.

As we step into a new year, I feel hopeful, excited, and ready. There is more coming - more growth, more creation, more softness, and more intention behind everything we do. If this year showed me anything, it’s that we are just getting started.

Your lips absorb what you put on them - make sure it’s not a byproduct of crude oil (yikes 😬)
 Petroleum-based products like Vaseline don’t nourish - they just sit on the surface.

We choose plant oils, butters, and beeswax because lips deserve real care, not a temporary fix 💋

 9 markets in under 3 weeks and somehow we’re still standing 🫠

Thank you to every single person who stopped by, chatted, shopped, supported, recommended us, or simply showed love this season. It genuinely means everything to us as a small business.

Would we love a break? Absolutely. Are we a small business? Yes. So… that’s not happening 😂
