Strong… but stiff?

Most guys I work with aren’t lacking strength, they’re lacking range.

Tight hips, restricted shoulders, lower back always “on”.

And that’s where everything starts to feel harder than it should.

My 1:1 mobility and stretch sessions are designed to open that up.

🔥 Why fire?

For centuries fire has been used in rituals to mark endings and beginnings…
to burn away what no longer belongs, and create space for something new.

Across cultures, it’s been a way to release grief, clear energy, set intention —a physical act that mirrors an internal shift.

It gives the body and mind somewhere to put what it’s been holding.

In this part of Restore, Reflect, Release, we used it to let go of what’s been too heavy…
old patterns, pressure, especially in relationships — things that were outgrown but still held onto.

There’s something magical about writing it down, naming it, and physically releasing it.

Because not everything is meant to be held onto.
And sometimes the shift happens in the moment you’re willing to let it move.

My participants felt lighter, calmer, and more relaxed. And you can too.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about gratitude in a different way.
Not the kind where you list things off a checklist, but the kind that feels like… noticing where you’re really at, and what actually resonates in your body and heart. Where you feel full, and where you might still be holding space for something outside of yourself.

It’s showing me where I’ve been overextending, overgiving, or expecting a feeling of “enough” to come from someone else instead of tuning in to what already feels aligned.
And when you shift your frequency like that, even endings or changes start to feel like they belong, not like they’ve taken something from you.

So with this Libra full moon, I’m sitting with that resonance.
What feels light, what feels centred, what feels like me, even if it’s different to what I hoped for.

Either way, I’m grateful for the journey. 🌕

Don’t actually hide your feelings in your muscles… 🙅‍♀️

Your emotions are meant to be felt, not stored.
And when you let yourself feel them, they move. They pass.

Learning how to channel and process them through your body helps me.

One of my favourite ways to move through ANGER is STRENGTH training.

Not to suppress it, invalidate it, avoid it or irrationally express it…but to give it somewhere to go. Safely. Constructively.

Because anger won’t just appear out of nowhere…
it’s often sitting on top of something deeper, like fear or core needs not being met.

When you start working with your body instead of against it, watch everything shift.

A gentle reminder to come back to what actually matters to you:

✨ your path

It’s easy to get pulled off track sometimes… that’s part of being human.

But you don’t need to stay there.

Take what you’ve learnt, let go of what no longer feels aligned, and slowly return to yourself.

Back to what feels true.
Back to what feels like home. 💕

Most people wait until an injury before they start taking care of their body.

But real change happens with CONSISTENCY.

One of my recent clients was visiting Phuket for a month and committed to two sessions a week with me. His goal was to feel better in his body especially through his core, hips, and hamstrings.

Last session for the year and honestly the perfect way to close it.

So grateful to be part of the grand opening of .phuketisland and to hold such an intimate ice bath, breathwork and yoga experience in such a beautiful space.

This session was never about pushing limits or seeing how long you can sit in the ice. It was about meeting stress with calm, choice and control.

From a yogic and Chinese medicine perspective, cold exposure can be powerful but it needs to be approached thoughtfully, especially for women. Too much cold or aggressive breathwork can be depleting to the nervous system and hormones. That’s why I chose soothing, grounding breathwork rather than techniques that overly challenge the system. My preference is to build resilience through regulation, not force.

Watching everyone soften into their breath and realise they didn’t need to push to feel strong was my favourite part.

That’s a wrap for the year. I’m now on holiday break until February. Thank you to everyone who shared the space and energy. More to come next year. 💖
