Advancing Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Knowledge in Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
BDMS Wellness Clinic, in collaboration with Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute (PPSI), hosted a two-day wellness and aesthetic medical engagement in Sydney, Australia, on 10–11 February 2026. The program highlighted Thailand’s medical expertise on the international stage while strengthening Thailand–Australia collaboration in high-value medical and wellness tourism.

The opening event was organized by BDMS Wellness Clinic in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), under the leadership of Tanupol Virunhagarun, MD, Chief Executive Officer of BDMS Wellness Clinic and BDMS Wellness Resort. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney.
Dr. Tanupol delivered a keynote lecture on Preventive & Longevity Care, presenting the vision of transforming Thailand from a “Tourism Destination” into “Wellness Hub Thailand – The Land of Life,” with a focus on preventive healthcare and healthspan enhancement at a global level.
During the academic panel, Prof. Sanguan Kunaporn, MD, Director of PPSI, shared perspectives on aesthetic plastic surgery standards, patient safety systems, and internationally aligned models of care, reinforcing Thailand’s readiness to serve as a regional hub for wellness and specialized surgery.

At the Wellness Executive Talk: Internal Science, External Artistry, Total Harmony, Prof. Sanguan presented "Aesthetic and Reconstructive Care for Natural, Confident Outcomes," outlining PPSI’s development as a specialized plastic surgery institute recognized for its global safety standards and research excellence, as published in the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS) journal.
He also highlighted two significant academic publications:
• Invited Discussion on 360 Ge***al Fat Transfer
• Free Jejunal Graft Vaginoplasty in Gender Affirmation Surgery: A Novel Technique
In addition, Dr. Tanupol delivered a session on Longevity Through Integrated Scientific Wellness, while Dr. Suchada presented Advanced Digital Dentistry, Smile Makeovers, and Implant Planning.
The two-day program reflected Thailand’s advancing medical innovation and the expanding global presence of Thai surgeons and wellness leaders.
