A tutorial video of how to install a SecuRope flexible lifeline on a corrugated steel roof, commonly know as cold deck roof. 500 meters, 1640', were installed with 28 complementary eye-anchors LDV029 fall arrest anchor points to secure access to the lifeline from a ladder or to secure specific areas distant from the lifeline to avoid the pendulum effect.
The lifeline installation process is the same whether it is installed on the IDF053 bracket or on the LDV023 and LDV036 stainless steel plates.
**This tutorial video is for illustration purposes only. The only binding documents are the Fallprotec installer manuals DOC023 (SecuRope general), DOC062 (SecuRope on cold deck with IDF053), and DOC037 (Yellow Eyeanchor) in English or French.

We recently installed our SecuRope inclined lifeline system on Norway’s Bømla Bridge, a large suspension bridge that requires safe access for ongoing inspection and maintenance. With so many bridges now reaching over 60 years old, the need for renovations and thorough inspections has never been more important.
Our system allows workers to safely access all areas of the bridge, ensuring it can be maintained efficiently. As bridge maintenance becomes a big focus worldwide, we’re proud to be part of the solution, helping to extend the life of these critical structures.

Description
Removable davit designed to suspend a worker to carry out maintenance or cleaning work on a facade. The davit system can be used by a rope access specialist, by a RopeClimber chair or by a single Ropeclimber cradle. The davit is fixed to the roof with sockets installed permanently on the perimeter of the building. At the end of the work, the davit arm is dismantled and stored. The davit is made of an aluminum rotating jib and supported by two adjustable anchor points. It has anchor points for an abseiling rope and a safety rope, ensuring maximum security during use. An aluminum mast establishes the framework, while stainless steel sockets, anchored to the roof slab, serve as base. These davit sockets are designed with covers that can be closed when not in use. Additionally, the system incorporates stainless or galvanized steel sockets that can be affixed either on the wall or on a parapet.
