✨September Themes✨
September 1 – 7: City Animals – Our Feathered and Furry Friends 🐿️
We’ll discover the animals that share our city—pigeons, cats, dogs, squirrels, and more! Children will explore their sounds, movements, and habitats through real-life pictures, gentle role-play, and nature walks in the school environment.
September 8 – 14: A World of Colors 🎨
A joyful celebration of color! Children will explore primary and secondary colors through sorting, matching, art, and sensory trays. They will discover how colors appear in nature, their clothes, and everyday objects.
September 15 – 21: Shapes & Patterns All Around Us 🔺
From circles to triangles, from stripes to polka dots—this week helps children notice and create shapes and patterns in their environment. Activities will include block building, puzzle work, pattern stamping, and nature-based shape hunts.
September 22 – 28: Nature as Our Paintbrush 🍃
We’ll bring the outdoors into our art. Using leaves, flowers, twigs, and seeds, children will create beautiful, tactile art pieces while learning to appreciate the beauty and textures of the natural world.
September 29 – October 5: Sensory Art and Exploration 👣
A week dedicated to touch, sight, sound, and smell! Children will enjoy sensory bins, textured painting, natural scent exploration, and sound-making with everyday objects. This theme invites creative expression while refining their sensory awareness.
