We celebrate the completion of the 𝟮𝟬𝟬-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗼𝗴𝗮 & 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 — and the deep shifts that unfolded along the way. A total of 24 students embarked on a journey of a lifetime, creating a sacred container that was non-judgemental, supportive and deeply caring.

Held in the serenity of Koh Yao Noi, and within the nurturing space of Island, this journey has been one of 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗶𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. ✨ What an incredible beginning to our Yoga Teacher Training journey. We started this week with a beautiful 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, gathering in circle to set our intentions, connect as a community, and honour the path of yoga. There was a sense of excitement, openness, and deep presence as everyone stepped into this experience together.

A few days later, under the luminous energy of the 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻, we shared a powerful ceremony of reflection, release, and renewal. Through meditation, sound, and ritual, we connected to the cycles of nature and our own inner wisdom. It was a deeply magical moment that reminded us why we walk this path.

Our 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 has already been filled with so much learning, practice, laughter, and growth. From exploring the foundations of yoga philosophy and functional alignment to moving, breathing, and supporting each other on the mat, the journey has truly begun.

Watching this group come together with such authenticity, courage, and heart is inspiring. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 — it’s a community, a deep inner shift, and the beginning of something beautiful.

Our 𝟱𝟬-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 at 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗼𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 has officially come to a close… and my heart (and ears!) are FULL. 💛🔔

Walking into this venue and seeing the abundance of instruments laid out felt like stepping into a 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 — crystal bowls shimmering in every key, grounding brass bowls, powerful gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks… an ocean of vibration ready to be explored.

It is always a JOY to teach and assist on this incredible training. The amount of equipment allows everyone to truly discover their unique sound signature and facilitation style. Such richness and such depth.

There are places on Earth that 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 — where the veil between the inner and outer worlds grows thin. Tiruvannamalai is one of them.

At the heart of this sacred South Indian town stands the ancient Arunachaleswarar Temple, honoring Lord Shiva as fire — the 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Towering gopurams, deep chants, candle flames… every stone here carries centuries of devotion.

Just at the foot of the holy mountain lies Sri Ramanasramam, the ashram of the great sage Ramana Maharshi. His simple yet profound teaching of 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗶𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘆 — “𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗺 𝗜?” — continues to ripple through seekers from all over the world. My daily routine of sitting here morning and evening after receiving chai from the stall outside remains ever present with me.

And then there is 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮 itself. Not just a mountain, but Shiva embodied in stone. The mountain doesn’t speak in words — it works in silence, and I was lucky enough to sit in the doorway of my room and it was as if I could reach out and touch Arunachala.

Tiruvannamalai is not a place you visit. It’s a place that meets you — and gently burns away what you are not 🔥
