researchers successfully removed the extra chromosome that causes Down syndrome from human cells using CRISPR gene-editing.

Led by Dr. Ryotaro Hashizume, the team was able to restore typical cell function in over 30% of the treated cells.

This represents a major milestone in addressing trisomy 21—the underlying genetic cause of Down syndrome—by directly targeting the surplus chromosome responsible for the condition’s cognitive and developmental challenges.

While this research is still in its early stages and only involves cells in the lab, it offers a glimpse into the future of potential genetic therapies for Down syndrome.

The ability to edit out an entire extra chromosome, rather than just individual genes, marks a bold leap in precision medicine. Scientists caution that translating this to real-world treatments for patients will take time and careful ethical consideration, but the proof of concept is a promising step toward altering the trajectory of this lifelong condition at its genetic root.

✅ تُعلم وزارة الصحّة أنّه، تبعًا لقرار الاتحاد الأوروبي القاضي بمنع مادة (TPO) Oxyde de diphényl triméthylbenzoyl phosphine) في مستحضرات التجميل نظرًا لما تمثّله من مخاطر صحية باعتبارها مادة سامة ومسرطنة في بعض مستحضرات التجميل وخاصةً طلاء الأظافر نصف الدائم، وذلك لما تُمثّله من مخاطر صحيّة مثبتة، فقد تقرّر ما يلي:

1️⃣ دعوة المواطنات والمواطنين إلى تجنّب شراء أو استعمال طلاء الأظافر نصف الدائم الذي يحتوي على هذه المادة، مع التأكد من قراءة مكوّنات المنتوج قبل الاستعمال.

2️⃣ دعوة مراكز التجميل إلى الامتناع كليًا عن استعمال أو تسويق هذه المنتجات بأي شكل كان.

وتؤكد وزارة الصحّة أنّها تتابع باستمرار المستجدات الدولية في مجال سلامة مستحضرات التجميل، وستتخذ كل الإجراءات الضرورية لحماية المستهلك وضمان سلامته.

🔶 تحذير صحّي بخصوص منتج "Lemon Bottle"

✅ تحذر وزارة الصحّة من استخدام منتج «Lemon Bottle» الذي يُروَّج له على الإنترنت كحقن لإذابة الدهون، خاصة لدى النساء.

🔴 تنبيه هام:

• هذا المنتج غير مصرح به للحقن، لا في تونس ولا دوليًا.

• لم يُسجَّل لدى الوكالة الوطنية للأدوية، ولا تُعرف تركيبته بدقة.

• لا توجد دراسات علمية موثوقة تؤكد فعاليته أو سلامته.

⚠️ مخاطر جسيمة محتملة:

• التهابات حادة،

• تلف في الأنسجة،

• انسداد الأوعية (جلطات)،

• تكتلات دهنية تحت الجلد.

👩‍⚕️ للمهنيين الصحيين:

- استعمال هذا المنتج يُعدّ مخالفة خطيرة تُعرض صاحبها لعقوبات قانونية.

- الحقن التجميلي يُمارس فقط من قِبل أطباء مختصين ومرخّصين، داخل مؤسسات طبية معتمدة.

👥 للمواطنين:

• لا تُخاطر بصحتك. تجنّب أي حقن خارج العيادات الطبية، سواء في مراكز تجميل غير معتمدة أو على يد أشخاص غير مؤهّلين.

• اطلب دائماً المشورة من طبيب مختص قبل أي إجراء تجميلي.

Chères consœurs, chers confrères,

Le Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins tient à attirer l’attention des médecins sur la nécessité absolue de respecter scrupuleusement les dispositions de l’article 27 du Code de Déontologie Médicale, face à la multiplication des cas d’usurpation d’identité, constatés dans divers contextes médicaux et administratifs.

Conformément à l’article 27 du décret n°93-1155 du 17 mai 1993 :
« L'exercice de la médecine comporte normalement l'établissement par le médecin, conformément aux constatations médicales qu'il est en mesure de faire, des certificats, ordonnances, attestations ou documents dont la production est prescrite par les textes législatifs et réglementaires.
Les documents visés à l'alinéa précédent délivrés par un médecin doivent comporter son identité, sa signature manuscrite, la date de l'examen ayant servi de base aux indications mentionnées dans les documents et la date de leur délivrance. Ces documents doivent comporter l'identité exacte du patient. »
En application de cette disposition, il est de la responsabilité du médecin de s'assurer de l'identité exacte du patient avant de délivrer tout document médical, et ce de manière systématique, quel que soit le contexte.

À cet effet, le Conseil National rappelle que :
• Le médecin doit impérativement vérifier l’identité du patient sur la base d’un document officiel valide, tel que :
o La carte d’identité nationale,
o Le passeport,
o Le titre de séjour pour les patients étrangers,

• Aucune attestation, certificat, ordonnance ou document médical officiel ne doit être délivré sans cette vérification préalable.
Cette mesure vise à protéger les patients, la profession et les médecins eux-mêmes, en évitant toute implication involontaire dans des faits de falsification, de fraude ou d’usurpation d’identité. Elle constitue un rempart essentiel contre les abus administratifs, juridiques et sociaux.

Le Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins appelle tous les praticiens à faire preuve d’une extrême vigilance dans l’application de cette obligation et reste à votre disposition pour tout complément d’information.

🛑 تحذير من وزارة الصحة: احذروا مخاطر تناول البيض الغير المطبوخ جيدًا..!

📢 لضمان سلامتكم، تجنبوا تناول البيض الغير المطبوخ جيدًا.
📌 تناول البيض النيء قد يؤدي إلى الإصابة ببكتيريا خطيرة مثل السالمونيلا التي تسبب التهابات حادة وأعراض صحية خطيرة.
✅ نصائح هامة للوقاية:
• التخزين الآمن: احفظوا البيض دائمًا في الثلاجة بدرجة حرارة تتراوح بين 5-7 درجات مئوية.
• تجنب وضع البيض في باب الثلاجة:
حيث إن تغيرات درجة الحرارة المتكررة قد تزيد من خطورة التلوث.
• الطهي الجيد: تأكدوا من طهي البيض حتى يتماسك كلاً من البياض والصفار، ويفضل أن تصل حرارته إلى 70 درجة مئوية لبضع ثوانٍ على الأقل.
