ZCARE est une société spécialiséé dans le service 3D médicale, le secteur reste l’un des moins servie par l’additive manufacturing, plus communément appelé impression 3D. Les orthèses sont l’un des produits qui devraient en profité le plus, c’est pour cela que nous avons créé le Z-CAST. Z-CAST est une orthèse pour membre inférieur et supérieur qui fournit les mêmes fonctionnalités que le plâtre ou la résine sans pour autant avoir les effets néfastes de ces derniers, il est imprimé en 3D avec du plastique PLA (acide poly lactique), comme son nom l’indique il est obtenu par polymérisation d’acide lactique, il est biocompatible et biodégradable et ne produit aucune démangeaison ou irritation sur la peau, de plus il est résistant à l'eau, léger, aéré et de faible épaisseur. Les différents avantages du Z-CAST permettant au patient d’avoir une vie confortable, il peut se doucher et porter ses vêtements sans avoir à les couper, facile à porter et ne nécessite pas une manipulation physique du membre déjà traumatisé, facile à enlever sans utilisation de la scie oscillante. Sa structure en forme de cellule humaine résiste aux chocs éventuels et permet une visibilité du membre en augmentant ainsi la réactivité avec les problèmes éventuelles, infection des plaies, gonflement du membre etc.
