🎉In celebration of the numerous achievements of the CURES project over the past three years since its launch in 2021🏅, and as a conclusion to its activities, the project team organized a closing ceremony on September 6, 2024.

The event was attended by the U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia Mr. Joey Hood U.S. Embassy Tunis , the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Malek Kachlaf, the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health Ms. Sanaa Haj Omar, the First Deputy of Sfax Mr. Mohamed Nafeti Kadouda, along with several partners 🤝, healthcare professionals 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️, and students 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓🩺 .

During the ceremony, the key milestones and achievements of the project were highlighted✨, particularly its role in supporting and promoting research and innovation in the medical field 🔬📈. The event also shed light on the exchange programs and collaborations 🤝 between the CURES project and its local and international partners 🌐, including leading medical organizations such as Johns Hopkins University and Biohealth Innovation, Inc.. Over the past three years, has contributed to strengthening the medical research 🧑‍🔬 ecosystem, focusing on the critical role of the Simulation Center at the Faculty of Medicine in Sfax 🏥. We continue with the video series of the mass casualty simulation exercise organized by the CURES CURES project, in collaboration with the Civil Protection of Sfax🚒, the Emergency Medical Service of Sfax (SAMU Sfax)🚑, and the Red Crescent 🩸 on June 12, 2024, at Sfax Medical school simulation center School🏫. ✨ In collaboration with the Promise Tunisia project, University of Sfax, Centre de Recherche en Numérique de Sfax, Centre de Biotechnologie de Sfax -مركز البيوتكنولوجيا بصفاقس -, CoStarT, Technopole Sfax, INNORPI, IPRIAT, L'Association des Technopôles Tunisiens (ATT), and Tunisia Technoparks 🤝, the CURES project co-organized an event as part of the series of awareness days under the name “Intellectual Property (IP) Awareness: Empowering Creativity and Innovation."

Participants had the opportunity to engage in enriching discussions and learn about protecting and valuing their intellectual property assets. In collaboration with Civil Protection Sfax 🧑‍🚒, the Emergency Medical Assistance Service of Sfax 🚑 (SAMU Sfax), and the Red Crescent 🩺, the Simulation Center at the Faculty of Medicine in Sfax 🏥 organized a Simulation exercise on June 12, 2024.
