– From Loupes to Exoscopes: A New Era of Visualization

When Dr. med. h. c. Karl Storz founded our company in 1945, one of the very first products was the loupe – a groundbreaking tool that enabled ENT specialists to visualize fine anatomical structures with unprecedented clarity. Even then, the guiding principle was clear: better vision leads to better medical care.

What began as an optical aid laid the foundation for a new era in surgical precision. Today, the eagle continues this tradition – with technology that takes surgical procedures to an entirely new level. Thanks to high-resolution imaging on an external monitor with 4K and 3D technology, and no fewer than three different fluorescence options, the invisible within the body is made visible.

The evolution from a simple loupe to a digital high-end exoscope stands as a symbol of the innovation journey that has shaped KARL STORZ for over 80 years – driven by the constant ambition to rethink and enhance medical visualization.

L'utilisation effective commencera à la fin de ce mois.

It is with great pleasure that MEDICO-CHIRURGICAL in partnership with STORZ MEDICAL Switzerland, announce the successful completion of the technical training on the lithotripter MODULITH SLX-F2 ‘connect’ which took place in the premises of STORZ MEDICAL Switzerland.
We would like to thank all the managers and engineers from STORZ MEDICAL Switzerland as well as the engineers from the Tunisian Ministry of Health for their efforts in making these days a success.

La troisième machine de lithotripsie extracorporelle MODULITH SLX-F2 "connect" vient d'être installée et mise en marche cette semaine à l'Hôpital Habib Bourguiba de Sfax.



The third MODULITH SLX-F2 ‘connect’ extracorporeal lithotripsy machine has just been installed and put into operation this week at the Habib Bourguiba Hospital in Sfax.
