Our project, initiated in May 2023, successfully screened thousands of women in rural areas of Tunisia who had not previously undergone cervical cancer screening. Cervical cancer screening rates in Tunisia remain below 10%, leading to late-stage diagnoses in 70% of cases and a 5-year survival rate of less than 20%, imposing a significant cost on patients and society.

During our pre-screening information sessions, we discuss sexual and reproductive health, family planning, gender-based violence, and access to healthcare. A huge thank you to everyone involved in this project. This project is supported by the Direct Aid Program of the Australian Government Australian High Commission, Malta et Ambassade d'Australie en Tunisie
