Cervical (cervix) cancer is a disease that can be largely prevented through regular screenings and preventive practices. Early diagnosis is possible with routine gynecological examinations, Pap smear tests, and, when necessary, HPV testing.
This January, remember to take this important step for yourself and your loved ones:
• Schedule your annual gynecological examination.
• Have your screenings done with a Pap smear test (and HPV testing if required).
• Consult your physician about the HPV vaccine and evaluate preventive options.
Do not postpone your screenings to protect your health.

Under the leadership of Mr. Rifat Sait, Former Member of the Turkish Parliament and President of BASAM, we completed a fruitful 5-day program across North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro.

We extend our gratitude to H.E. Mr. Arben Fetai, Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, for his warm reception, and to the distinguished leaders we had the honor of meeting, including H.E. Mr. Azir Aliu, Minister of Health of North Macedonia; H.E. Mr. Fikrim Danka, Minister of Development of Kosovo; Ms. Nađa Laković, Member of Parliament of Montenegro; and many others.
