I am truly delighted to have participated for the second time in the IBC – University of Oxford World Congress.
It has once again been a privilege to contribute to such a unique scientific atmosphere, where global leaders in bariatric surgery gather to share insights and innovation.
This year, I had the opportunity to:
🔹 Deliver my talk on “Re-defining the Future: a Bariatric Tourism Global Database”
🔹 Serve as a Moderator in the British Journal of Surgery Oral Abstract Session
🔹 Serve as a Moderator in the Turkey–Azerbaijan Symposium
🔹 Take part as a Panelist in the Central Asia Symposium Experts Forum on Major Staple Line Haemorrhage after Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy
🔹 Join the Turkey–Azerbaijan Symposium Experts Panel on Mechanisms and Management of Staple Misfiring during Bariatric Surgery
My heartfelt thanks go to Prof. Haris Khwaja for his visionary leadership, to everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to the entire IBC Club family for creating yet another enriching congress.
Being part of this journey is both inspiring and motivating for me, and I am grateful for the chance to grow, share, and learn alongside such esteemed colleagues.
Additionally, my heartfelt regards to my dear brother Dr. Tuna Bilecik , and who has been both a big brother and a true friend to me throughout the congress, and for whose health and presence I always pray.
