Hastamız daha önce anevrizma ameliyatı sonrasında kafatası enfeksiyonu geçirmiş. Kafatası kemiği çıkarılmış ve aylar süren enfeksiyon tedavisi görmüş.

Kafatasında oluşan boşluğa özel olarak ürettiğimiz peek implantı yerleştirdik ve normal kemik bütünlüğünü geri kazandırdık.
Our patient had previously suffered a skull infection following aneurysm surgery. A section of the skull bone was removed, and the patient underwent months of treatment for the infection.

We placed a PEEK implant—specifically designed for her skull—into the resulting cavity in the skull to restore bone integrity.

Bazı durumlarda çocuk hastalarda da kraniyoplasti ameliyatı zorunlu hale gelebiliyor. Elazığ’dan gelen bu hastamızın kafatası kemiği bir kaza sonucu alınmak zorunda kalmış. Kişiye özel implant sayesinde kafatası kemiğinde oluşan boşluğu doldurduk ve eski sağlığına kavuştu.
In some cases, cranioplasty surgery may be necessary even for pediatric patients. Our patient from Elazığ had to have a portion of their skull removed following an accident. Using a custom-made implant, we filled the resulting void in the skull, and the patient has fully recovered.

Beyin fonksiyonlarının geri kazanımında en önemli etkenlerden biri zaman. Trafik kazası sonucu Samet’in kafatası parçası karnına gömülmüştü. Bize geldiğinde yoğun bakımdaydı. Çok zaman kaybetmeden yaptığımız başarılı ameliyat sonrasında fizik tedavi ile hızla iyileşti ve normal hayatına geri döndü.
One of the most important factors in the recovery of brain function is time. Following a traffic accident, a fragment of Samet’s skull had become embedded in his abdomen. When he arrived at our facility, he was in intensive care. After the successful surgery we performed without delay, he recovered quickly with physical therapy and returned to his normal life.

Buğlem'in yenidoğan döneminde hidrosefali ve meningomyelosel ameliyatlarını başarıyla gerçekleştirmiştik. Şimdi 3,5 yaşında, kontrollerde her şey yolunda.
It brings me great joy to see the patients I cared for during their newborn period grow up.

We successfully carried out Buğlem’s hydrocephalus and meningomyelocele surgeries during her newborn stage. She is now 3.5 years old, and her checkups continue to go smoothly.

Hem estetik hem de kraniyoplasti ameliyatları için geçerlidir. 20 sene önce bu ameliyatlar kemik tozu, kemik çimentosu veya akrilik gibi malzemelerle el yordamıyla yapılırdı. Fakat şimdi 3D printer sayesinde hem bire bir istenilen sonuca ulaşıyoruz hem de kullanılan malzemeler sayesinde çok daha sağlıklı ve kalıcı bir implant yerleştirmiş oluyoruz.
This applies to both cosmetic and cranioplasty surgeries. Twenty years ago, these procedures were done manually with materials like bone powder, bone cement, or acrylic. However, with the advent of 3D printing, we can now produce precise results, using materials that enable us to implant healthier and more durable solutions.

Kafatası estetiği ameliyatı sonrasında çok ağrınız olacak diye düşünmeyin. Oluşacak ağrıları da ilaçlarla kontrol altına alıyoruz. Yani çok ağır bir ameliyat değildir.
Don’t worry about experiencing significant pain after cranial aesthetic surgery. We handle any discomfort with medication. In essence, it’s a minimally invasive procedure.

Kafatasındaki boşluğu doldurma, yani kraniyoplasti ameliyatlarında, bizim için öncelik hastanın kendi kafatası kemiğidir. Fakat çıkarılan kafatası karında muhafaza edilse bile, uzun süre geçtiğinde kemikte erime veya incelme görülmektedir. Bunun için yerine peek veya titanyum implant yerleştiriyoruz.
In skull reconstruction surgery, or cranioplasty, the primary goal is to use the patient’s own skull bone. However, even if the removed bone is stored in the abdomen, it can resorb or thin over time. As a result, we often opt for PEEK or titanium implants instead.

Nil continues to recover rapidly. We had to operate on her due to a brain hemorrhage and hydrocephalus she suffered following a car accident. Her optic nerves weren’t functioning at all, but now they’re starting to return to normal. The second photo is from 7 months ago.

Travma sonucu kafatası kemiği çıkartılan hastamız için üç boyutlu modelleme ile implant üretip yerleştirdik. Kraniyoplasti ameliyatlarındaki ana felsefemiz sadece estetik olarak düzeltmek değil, beyin fonksiyonlarını eski haline getirmektir.
We placed an implant using 3D modeling for our patient who had a skull bone removed as a result of trauma. Our main aim in cranioplasty surgeries is not only to correct the aesthetics, but also to restore brain functions to their previous state.
