Kafatası şekillendirme sadece implant yerleştirilerek yapılmıyor. Kişinin kafatası yapısı ve sağlığı izin verdiği ölçüde istediğimiz şekillendirme işlemini yapabiliyoruz. Sanıldığının aksine basit ve güvenilir bir ameliyattır.
Skull reshaping is not limited to implant placement. We can perform the desired reshaping procedure to the extent the person’s skull structure and health allow. Contrary to popular belief, it is a simple and reliable surgery.

Estetik ameliyatlarda neden dolgu maddesi tercih etmediğim çok soruluyor. Kafatası estetiği dediğimizde kafatası kemiğine en yakın maddeleri kullanıyoruz, dolgular ise cilt veya cilt altı işlem gibi oluyor. Ama bence en önemli nedeni 3boyutlu modelleme ve kişiye özgü üretim.
Yaptığımız kafatası estetiği ameliyatları süprizlere açık değildir. Ameliyat öncesinde hastamızla hangi model üzerinde anlaştıysak ameliyattan sonra da aynısını elde ederiz.
People often ask me why I avoid using fillers in aesthetic surgery. When discussing skull aesthetics or skull reshaping, we use materials closest to the skull bone, while fillers are typically reserved for skin or subcutaneous applications. However, I believe the key reason is the importance of 3D modeling and personalized production.
The cranial aesthetic surgeries we perform are not subject to surprises. Whatever model we agree on with our patient before the surgery, we achieve the same result after the surgery.

Kafatası estetiğinin en büyük avantajı ameliyat sonrasında kafaasının nasıl olacağını gösterebilmemiz. Hastanın isteğine göre revize edebilir ve implantı buna göre üretebiliriz. Kişinin sağlığını bozmayacak şekilde kişiye özel üretilen implantlar ömür boyu kalıcılığa sahiptir.
The biggest advantage of cranial reshaping is that we can show the patient what their head will look like after surgery. We can revise it according to the patient’s wishes and produce the implant accordingly. Implants produced specifically for each individual in a way that does not harm their health are permanent.

Beyin fonksiyonlarını koruyabilmek için kranioplasti ameliyatının zaman kaybetmeden yapılması gerekir. Literatüre ve deneyimlerimize dayanarak, ameliyat için beklenmemesi gerektiğini söyleyebiliriz.

Zeynep Hanım’ı hatırladınız mı? Beyin kanaması geçirmiş ve kafatasının bir bölümü alınmıştı. Fakat bu durumda içeride sıvı toplanması sonucu yürüyemiyor, konuşamıyor ve yatağa bağımlı yaşamaya çalışıyordu.
Kranioplasti ameliyatındaki asıl felsefemiz beyni eski çalışır haline getirmektir. Zeynep Hanım da bunun en güzel örneklerinden biri.
Do you remember Zeynep? She had a brain hemorrhage, and part of her skull was removed. However, because of fluid buildup, she could not walk or speak and was confined to her bed. Our primary goal in cranioplasty surgery is to restore the brain’s original function. Zeynep is a clear example of this.

İmplant yerleştirilerek yapılan kafatası estetiği ameliyatları kemik üzerinde ve saçlı deri altında gerçekleştirilir. 3D modelleme sayesinde ameliyat öncesinde hastayla birlikte düzenleme fırsatı olur. Kemiğe sabitlenen implant herhangi bir rahatsızlık hissi vermez, saç ekilmesine engel değildir ve saç dökülmesine neden olmaz.
Skull reshaping surgeries performed by placing implants are carried out on the bone and under the scalp. Thanks to 3D modeling, there is an opportunity to make adjustments with the patient before the surgery. The implant fixed to the bone does not cause any discomfort, does not prevent hair transplantation, and does not cause hair loss.

Estetik süreci nasıl işliyor?👉🏻 Önce hasta ile ön görüşme yapıp neler istediğini konuşuyoruz ve üç boyutlu kafatası tomografisi çekiyoruz. Nasıl bir model olacağını hastayla konuştuktan sonra mühendislerimiz tomografi üzerinden bir model üretiyor, ben de bu implantın sınırlarını belirliyorum. Sonrasında hastayla tekrar bir araya gelip ürettiğimiz modeli gösteriyoruz.
📌Bu aşamada en önemli nokta: implant üzerinde istenilen değişiklikleri yapabiliyoruz.
Son halini aldıktan sonra üretime geçip estetik ameliyatı gerçekleştiriyoruz.
How does the aesthetic process work? First, we hold a preliminary consultation with the patient to discuss their wishes and take a 3D skull tomography scan. After talking with the patient about which model they prefer, our engineers create a model based on the tomography scan, and I define the boundaries of the implant. Then, we meet with the patient again to show them the model we have made.
📌The most crucial point at this stage is that we can make any desired changes to the implant.
Once the final version is ready, we move to production and carry out the aesthetic surgery.

Konu kafatası estetiğine nasıl geldi? Kranioplasti ameliyatlarındaki felsefemiz sadece estetik değil aynı zamanda kafatası sağlığını yerine getirmeye yönelik işlem yapmaktır. Bugüne kadar biriktirdiğimiz deneyimler ve başarılı sonuçlar sayesinde kafatası estetiğinde de ilerleme sağlamış olduk.
How did we get into cranial aesthetics? Our philosophy in cranioplasty surgeries is not only aesthetic but also to perform procedures aimed at restoring cranial health. Thanks to the experience we have collected and the successful results we have achieved to date, we have also made progress in cranial reshaping.

Epilepsi tedavisi gören Nives’in hikayesini iki hafta önce ‘neredeyse hiç nöbet geçirmedi’ olarak paylaşmıştım. Artık gönül rahatlığıyla söyleyebiliriz ki Nives’in hiç nöbeti yok😌
Hırvatistan’dan gelen 5 yaşındaki hastamızın ameliyatına, çocuk nöroloğu ve çocuk psikiyatristi ile birlikte multidisipliner bir yaklaşımla karar vermiştik. Uygun epilepsi hastalarında VSN oldukça güvenilir bir ameliyat.
I shared Nives’ story two weeks ago, noting that she had “almost no seizures.” We can now say with confidence that Nives has no seizures at all😌
We decided on surgery for our 5-year-old patient from Croatia using a multidisciplinary approach, together with a pediatric neurologist and a child psychiatrist. VSN is a very reliable surgery for suitable epilepsy patients.

Kafatası şekillendirmede kullandığımız 3D modelleme ile ameliyat öncesinde implantın nasıl yerleşeceğine birlikte bakıyoruz. Ekstra bir risk taşımadan kafatasını yeniden şekillendirmek günümüz teknolojisinde oldukça pratik.
Using 3D modeling for skull reshaping, we can see how the implant will be positioned before surgery. Reshaping the skull without any extra risk is quite practical with today’s technology.
