A great example showing why large areas of hair loss are best approached in two separate sessions.
Patients with extensive hair loss can sometimes feel discouraged when they hear that a single session may not be enough to cover the entire area. But in reality, attempting to treat such large areas in one session often leads to weak density and a see-through result.
When the process is planned step by step, focusing on strategic density rather than spreading grafts too thin, outcomes like this become achievable.
Our patient returned to the clinic for his second session, which also gave us the opportunity to document the results of the first procedure. We would like to thank him for allowing us to share these images.
In the first session, 5100 grafts were placed to restore the frontal and midscalp areas. During the second session, approximately 3000 grafts were used to address the crown area, while an additional 400–500 grafts were placed to reinforce minor gaps in the previously treated zones.
As always, I have shared photos taken from multiple angles, under strong lighting conditions. Towards the end, you will also find videos that help reveal the details more clearly.
Density is important, but so are artistry and naturalness. Achieving both requires a different level of expertise.
Because when the work is truly solid, there is nothing to hide.
