Rather than a traditional clinical setting, the project brings architecture and art into dialogue, proposing a calm, human-centered experience where care is supported through space, light, and material.

Announced last week in New York, Interior Design Magazine’s 2025 Best of Year Awards named Smiles Premium Dental Clinic Winner in the Health + Wellness category.

Conceived as a cultural reinterpretation of the clinical experience, the project transforms a dental clinic into a calm, gallery-like environment. Architecture, materiality, and contemporary art come together to challenge the conventional perception of healthcare spaces, shifting the focus from sterility to wellbeing, comfort, and experience.

This recognition reflects a new approach to health environments, where design plays an active role in shaping emotional and spatial wellbeing.
