Op.Dr.Alper Arıkan 30/12/1980 tarihinde Adana'da doğdu. Orta ve lise öğrenimini Çağ College ve Adana Fen Lisesi'nde tamamladı.
Çukurova Tıp Fakütesinden mezun olduktan sonra Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji kliniğinde ihtisasını tamamladı. Gaziantep'te mecburi hizmetinin ardından İzmir Üniversitesi'nde çalıştı.
