Mecburi hizmetine 2007-2008 yılında Mardin Devlet Hastanesinde başladı, 2008 yılında ise Ankara Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi 4. cerrahi kliniğine atandı. 2009-2012 yılları arasında Ankara Meslek Hastalıkları Hastanesinde çalışan Dr. Turgut KARACA, Kasım 2012 yılında İskenderun Devlet Hastanesine atandı.

İskenderun Devlet Hastanesinde 2013 yılında Yanık Tedavi Ünitesinin, 2014 yılında da Yara Bakım Ünitesinin kurulmasında aktif rol aldı. Nisan 2016 tarihinde Genel Cerrahi Doçenti unvanını aldı. 2016-2018 yılları arasında İskenderun Özel Palmiye Hastanesinde , 2018-2020 yılları arasında Özel Gelişim Hastanesinde ve Adana Özel Medline Hastanesinde çalıştıktan sonra şu anda İskenderun'da ve Adana'da özel muayenehane hekimi olarak hizmet vermekteyim
