Why do we prefer stem cells from
umbilical cords?
🇫🇷 Pourquoi privilégions-nous les cellules souches
issues du cordon ombilical ?

In our lab, we can produce stem cells from both bone
marrow and donated umbilical cords. However, we
prefer umbilical cord-derived cells. Here’s why:

❌ Bone marrow-derived stem cells:

* Are blood-based, and cannot become nerve cells.
* The patient's own bone marrow may already be
damaged.

✅ Umbilical cord-derived stem cells:

* Can differentiate into nerve cells.
* Support neurological healing.
* Safe and effective – our preferred method.

🇫🇷 Dans notre laboratoire, nous pouvons produire des
cellules souches à partir de moelle osseuse ou de
cordons ombilicaux donnés. Cependant, nous
choisissons délibérément d’utiliser les cellules
provenant du cordon ombilical. Pourquoi ?
