Varicocele internal s***matic vein:
This picture shows our new technique in varicocele surgery. We remove all varicose veins of the te**is in extreme long segments. In classical microscopic varicocelectomy operation surgeons just tie the enlarged veins and leave them to self disappear in following 3-6 months. We remove these veins in very long segment. This technique decreases the risk of recurrence. We call our technique Istanbul varicocelectomy technique. It has four components:

2️⃣ Use of intraoperative microvascular Doppler

3️⃣ Long segment excision of external s***matic vein

Our surgical experience with operation microscope started in 2002, to which we owe too much in achieving successful results in varicocele surgery. Now we are reaching almost 20th year.

In the world of urology, very important developments have come to the fore in varicocele surgery in recent years. We consider it an important task to adapt these innovations, which are applied in few centers in the world, to the conditions of our country in a short time and to develop new techniques based on our own experience in varicocele surgery.

These innovations can be listed as follows:

🚩Dr. Cüneyd Sevinç received his Microscopic Varicocelectomy training and certificate in 2002 and has been performing his operations with the help of an operating microscope since then.

📌 We aim to prevent recurrent varicocele by using a 10x-20x magnified vision by OPERATION MICROSCOPE, finding easily and fast main and sub branches of testicular arteries by using the 1.5 mm diameter MICROVASCULAR DOPPLER. This technique was initiated in our clinic for the first time in our country at September 2018.
