🎥 “Is this skin cancer?”
This lesion on the scalp looked concerning to the patient but it turned out to be a seborrheic keratosis, a very common benign skin growth.

Seborrheic keratoses can appear dark, irregular, and slightly raised sometimes with a “stuck-on” appearance.
Even though they are non-cancerous, they can:

• Grow over time
• Get irritated while combing hair
• Bleed if traumatized
• Cause aesthetic concerns

In this case, we performed a minor excision under local anesthesia. The procedure was quick and comfortable for the patient.

As always, the removed tissue was sent for histopathological examination to confirm the diagnosis.

🔎 Important reminder: Not every pigmented lesion is malignant — but every changing lesion deserves evaluation.

The Most Challenging Rhinoplasty Cases

Contrary to popular belief, noses with prominent humps or major deformities are not always the most difficult cases.
Sometimes, noses that already look good and have minimal imperfections require much greater surgical precision.

In this case:
✔️ There was no noticeable hump
✔️ No major deviation or dramatic issue

For this reason, the planning process was even more critical. While correcting a hump or obvious deformity provides a clear surgical goal, noses with minimal imperfections require a focus on refining proportions rather than changing the nose.

In this case, Piezo rhinoplasty was performed using ultrasonic technology to precisely reshape the nasal bones while preserving the surrounding soft tissues. The objective was to maintain natural contours and achieve a more balanced profile.

• The nasal dorsum appears smoother and more defined
• Tip projection is proportionate to facial ratios
