Our 16-year-old Cameroonian patient was diagnosed with Wilson's disease in the tests performed at the hospital where he applied with complaints of abdominal pain and started medication. However, our patient developed liver failure as a result of not responding to medication and learned that he needed a transplant and preferred Türkiye for treatment.

1- كيف لي أن أعرف ما إذا كنت مؤهلاً لزراعة الكلى؟
بإمكانك الحصول على المعلومات المتعلقة بزراعة الكلى من وحدة غسيل الكلى في مركز وفي أعقاب النقاش عن فوائدها ومضارها، يكون بالإمكان اتخاذ القرار حول ملائمة زراعة الكلى للمريض.

2- هل هناك عمر محدد يستثنى من قائمة زراعة الكلى؟
لا يوجد حد أعلى لعمر المريض الذي بالإمكان إجراء عملية زارعة الكلى له، على الرغم من ذلك، من المهم أن يؤخذ بالحسبان أن تكون الفوائد المحتملة لهذه الزراعة تفوق الأضرار. فقد تنطوي العملية الجراحية للزراعة والعلاج الذي يتبعها على بعض الخطورة لذا يجب أن يكون المريض ملائمًا من الناحية الصحية بالقدر الكافي لتحمل العملية بأكملها. هذا ويتم اتخاذ القرار حول مدى ملائمة الزراعة الجراحية من جانب المريض المعني نفسه وبالتشاور مع طبيبه.
