🇹🇷Bugün kıymetli doktor büyüğüm ve bir dönem tedavisini üstlendiğim Dr. Mehmet Bengi, 3 ciltlik Fransızca KBB kitaplarını hediye etti. 1991 yılında vefat eden babası Op. Dr. Ali Hikmet Bengi'ye ait, 1929 basımı bu kitapları yıllardır saklamış. Anlam ve değerini bileceğimi düşünerek Gebzeden bana getirmiş. Kendisine çok teşekkürlerimi iletiyorum🙏

🇺🇸Today, esteemed senior physician and former patient of mine, Dr. Mehmet Bengi, gifted me a three-volume set of French ENT books. These books, published in 1929, belonged to his father, Op. Dr. Ali Hikmet Bengi, who passed aday in 1991. He haf preserved them for many years and brought them to me all the way from Gebze, believing I would appreciate their meaning and value. I am deeply grateful to him🙏

🇹🇷Bugün, parotis bezinden (tükürük bezlerinden en büyüğü) iyi huylu bir tümörü çıkarmak amacıyla başarılı bir süperficial parotidektomi ameliyati gerçekleştirdik. Videoda, tümör çıkarıldıktan sonra yüz siniri dallarını uyardığımız anı göreceksiniz- sinirin bütünlüğünü teyit eden ve her KBB cerrahı için büyük bir rahatlama sağlayan andır.
Ayrıca, burada birlikte fotoğraf çektirdiğimiz harika ameliyat hemsirelerime minnettarım. Destekleri ve titizlikleri sayesinde bu tür hassas ameliyatlar başarıyla gerçekleşiyor.🙏🙏🙏

🇺🇲Today, we successfully performed a superficial parotidectomy to remove a benign tumor from the parotid gland. In the clip, you will see us stimulating the facial nerve branches after tumor removal- a moment of great relief and satisfaction for any ENT surgeon.
I am also deeply grateful to my amazing surgical nurses pictured here with me - whose support and precision make surgeries like this possible.🙏🙏🙏

🇹🇷12. Ulusal Otoloji ve Nörotoloji toplantısı için Muğladayız. Bu anlamlı etkinliğe hem konuşmacı olarak katılmak, hem de Otoloji Nörotoloji derneği yönetim kurulu üyesi olarak katkı sunmak benim için büyük bir onur. Bu yıl ayrıca derneğimizin 25.yılı..alanımıza katkı sunan pek çok değerli isimle aynı çatı altında çalışmak gurur verici.
Toplantıda iki farklı konuda sunum yapma fırsatı buldum: Ototoksisite modelleri ve işitme kaybında kök hücre tedavisi.
Dostlarla, meslektaşlarla, hocalarla bir araya gelmek, deneyim paylaşmak çok kıymetli.
Organizasyonu gerçekleştirilen herkese teşekkür ederim.

🇺🇸We are in Muğla for the 12th National Otology and Neurotology meeting. It was an honor to attend not only as a speaker, but also as a board member of the Otology and Neurotology Society--especially in this meaningful year, marking the 25th anniversary of our society.
I had the opportunity to present on two topics: ototoxicity models and stem cell theraphy in hearing loss. It was a wonderful few days filled with scientific exhange, and the joy of reconnecting with friends and collegues.
Many thanks to organizing community and everyone who contributed to this successful event.

🇹🇷3-5 Nisan 2025 tarihleri arasında Budapeşte'de düzenlenen Vertigo Academy International toplantısına katılmaktan büyük mutluluk duydum.
Bu etkinlikte 'Çevresel Faktörlerin ötesinde: BPPV nüksünde migrenin temel rolü' başlıklı çalışmamızı sunma fırsatı buldum.
Vestibüler sistem üzerinde çalışan değerli meslektaşlarımla bilgi alışverişinde bulunmak benim için oldukça verimliydi.

🇺🇲 I had the pleasure of attending the Vertigo Academy International 2025 in Budapest from April 3-5, where I presented our paper titled: 'Beyond Environmental Factors: Migraine as a Key contributor in BPPV recurrence.'
It was a valuable opportunity to connect eith experts passionate about advancing our understanding of vestibular disorders.

🇹🇷CGRP reseptör blokajı ve nitrik oksidin işitme ve denge sistemi üzerindeki etkilerini incelediğim araştırmamı ARO2025 de sunmak harika bir deneyimdi! İşitme bilimi alanında önde gelen bilim insanlarıyla araştırmam hakkında sohbet etme fırsatı bulmak benim için büyük bir onurdu. Bu tür etkileşimler, vestibüler migren ve Meniere hastalığı gibi denge bozukluklarını daha iyi anlamak için beni daha da motive ediyor. Bilimi sadece laboratuvar ortamında değil, hastalarımla ve takipçilerimle paylaşmak da en az araştırmanın kendisi kadar önemli—çünkü bilgi, daha iyi bir tedavinin anahtarıdır!

🇺🇲An incredible moment at ARO2025—presenting my research on the effects of CGRP receptor blockade and nitric oxide on the auditory and vestibular systems! It was an honor to discuss my work with leading experts in the field of hearing science. These conversations inspire me to keep pushing forward in understanding balance disorders like vestibular migraine and Meniere’s disease. Sharing these advancements with my patients and followers is just as important as the research itself—because knowledge empowers better care!

🇱🇷I feel lucky for being able to attend Sfn ( society for neuroscience) meeting in Chicago this year. It was fun and inspiring especially right after getting my PhD degree. This is a very good meeting to see the advancement and innovations in Neuroscience.

🇹🇷Bu yıl Chicago'daki Sfn ( nörobilim) toplantısına katılabildiğim için kendimi şanslı hissediyorum. Özellikle doktora derecesini aldıktan hemen sonra eğlenceli ve ilham vericiydi. Nörobilimdeki ilerlemeyi ve yenilikleri görmek için çok iyi bir toplantı.
