💫Second PITAC case for mesothelioma in two days in a row.

In mesothelioma surgery, after chemotherapy and immunotherapy, pleurectomy and decortication are used to surgically treat pleural tumor foci, followed by PITAC (pressurized intrathoracic chemotherapy) to enhance the effectiveness of local treatment. This increases the success rate of the surgery thanks to the pe*******on of the pressure-delivered chemotherapy into the tumor tissue.

✨️Bugün, tıbbın bir kişinin nefes almasını nasıl geri getirebileceğine bir kez daha tanık olduk.

🌸Hastamızın akciğeri sıvı birikmesi nedeniyle sıkışmıştı ve artık normal nefes alamıyordu. Minimal invaziv bir cerrahi işlem ile akciğerin fonksiyonunu etkileyen sıvıyı boşaltıp, oluşmasına sebep olan durumu izah ettik. İşlemden sonra hasta uzun bir aradan sonra ilk kez derin nefes alabildi.

🙏Bazen küçük bir kesi ve ekip ile en değerli şeyi, yani derin nefes alma geri kazanılabilir. Destekleri için teşekkür ediyoruz.
