Dr. Mala Ali has extended a warm welcome to the ceasefire agreement recently reaffirmed between India and Pakistan. He described the development as a significant step toward regional peace and the well-being of border communities.

"It is indeed a matter of great satisfaction that both India and Pakistan have agreed to uphold the ceasefire understanding. This decision will bring a long-awaited sense of security and relief to the residents living along the Line of Control and international borders, who have long suffered the consequences of recurring hostilities.

I hope for peace between the two neighboring countries, asking God to protect everyone from the scourge of war, because it will cause great suffering for people, including death, hunger, displacement, disease, pain, and other calamities. I look forward to world peace, because war brings nothing but suffering. The wars in Gaza, Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Sudan, and others have only produced suffering, pain, and death.
