The Silent Pandemic: Diabetes. 👉🏻As of 2021, there are approximately 537 million adults (ages 20-79) with diabetes globally. This number is expected to rise to 643 million by 2030 and to 783 million by 2045. 👉🏻This indicates that diabetes poses a significant burden not only on individuals but also on healthcare systems and economies.
Preventing and managing diabetes is critical to protecting the health of individuals and communities. 👉🏻Healthy eating, regular physical activity, weight control, and regular health screenings are effective strategies for preventing diabetes. Additionally, raising awareness about diabetes and organizing educational programs are important.

👉🏻Today, diabetes is in a pandemic state, and the seriousness of this situation calls for a review of health policies and the implementation of effective prevention strategies. Encouraging people to adopt healthy lifestyles and raising awareness about diabetes will be important steps in overcoming this global issue. In this context, actions at both the individual and community levels can make a significant difference for a healthier world in the future.
