Rejuvenation surgery is not always about making everything tighter. Sometimes, even the most beautiful faces have certain features that quietly hide their true beauty. Just like this incredibly kind and lovely patient. An operating room nurse herself, she carried a concern in her neck area that was overshadowing the harmony of her face. With the right surgical approach, once that area was corrected, her natural beauty gently came forward—and the transformation was truly remarkable.

To be honest, reaching this result required advanced techniques and some high-risk surgical maneuvers, but it was all done with one clear goal: to reveal what was already there.

At her 5-month follow-up, she had undergone a deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, brow lift, buccal fat removal, and blepharoplasty.

She truly deserved this result—and I am grateful to be part of her journey.

In my practice, facial aesthetics should serve one purpose: achieving a younger, fresher, and completely natural look. An artificial or overdone appearance can never be the goal of aesthetic surgery.

For truly natural rejuvenation, all facial subunits that require improvement must be addressed in a single session. Rejuvenating some areas while leaving others untouched creates imbalance—and that imbalance is exactly what leads to unnatural results.
In other words, the fundamental rule is holistic rejuvenation in one session.

I gave a presentation about at the 100% plastic surgery meeting at Ege University. Over the weekend, I participated in the 4th facelift course as a faculty member and dissector. I shared my knowledge with many national and international plastic surgeon colleagues.

Just like in all aesthetic surgeries, achieving good results in facial rejuvenation is never about a single procedure. Each patient has unique needs, and therefore each patient requires a customized combination of techniques. Sometimes lifting, sometimes reduction, sometimes excision, sometimes augmentation, and at times the addition of foreign materials—there are many possibilities.

The key is determining which techniques are appropriate for each patient and performing them with precision.

For this patient, a deep-plane facelift, deep neck reduction, temporal lift/brow lift, facial fat grafting, and a lip lift were performed.

Facelift surgeries are often among the most challenging operations — and revision cases, patients with heavy faces and necks, those previously treated multiple times with energy-based devices, or exposed to repeated filler injections, are some of the most difficult groups to manage.

This lovely patient had undergone a facelift in another country and complained that her face sagged prematurely, her neck showed no improvement after surgery, and she was left with poor scars in front of her ears.

I performed a deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, temporal lift, blepharoplasty, and buccal fat removal.

As you can see from the results, even in complex cases like this, with the right and effective surgical maneuvers, achieving beautiful and natural outcomes is often possible.

I believe this patient perfectly represents why I perform facelift surgeries so frequently in my daily practice.

Once considered a procedure for older patients, the facelift has evolved dramatically with modern techniques — now allowing us to achieve impressive, natural results even in younger age groups when properly indicated.

🇹🇷✨ Our 47th National Congress of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery was, as always, an incredible experience. We learned so much, shared knowledge, and connected with colleagues.

If facial rejuvenation were a cherry cake, the cake would be the deep plane facelift and neck lift, while the cherries would be the finishing touches — eyelid surgery, temporal lift, lip lift, buccal fat removal, and fat injections. İki yıldır ısrarla facelift ameliyatı olmak isteyen kayınvalidemin ameliyat sırası geldi ve bu zorlu görev nihayet 6 ay önce tamamlandı. Ameliyat ettiğim hastamın hem cerrahı olmak hem de refakatçisi olmak gerçekten çok farklı bir duyguydu, bu durum hastalarıma ve yakınlarına daha iyi empati yapmamı sağladı☺️Kendisine derin plan yüzgerme, derin boyun germe, temporallift, alt ve üst blefaroplasti, bişektomi yaptım. Neyse ki süreç başarıyla tamamlandı😅

One of the most challenging things for a surgeon is operating on a family member. My mother-in-law, who had been persistently wanting a facelift for two years, finally had the surgery, and this challenging task was finally completed six months ago. Being both the surgeon and the patient’s companion was a truly unique experience, and it allowed me to empathize more with my patients and their families.
