Why the change of prosthesis after breast argumentation⁉️
As we always say, breast prosthesis is permanent. It is not necessary to change it after a certain time. However, if you desire a very large size implant, this operation cannot be done at a go. The place where the implant is placed, which we call the pocket, does not initially accommodate such a large implant. First, we place an implant according to the patient’s pocket (our patient’s first implant is 390 cc) and thus enable the pocket to grow. Then later, we replace this implant with the larger implant desired (our patient’s preferred implant is 625 cc).
