Modern tıp ilkelerine uygun olarak yapılacak tetkik ve değerlendirmeler sonunda, gerekli tedavi ve cerrahi müdahaleler yapılmak ön şartı ile, kabul edilmiş endikasyonlar dahilinde geleneksel yöntemleri uyguluyoruz. Bu olguda ilgili ana bilim dallarınca değerlendirilmiş ve kronik baş ağrılarını açıklayacak bir bulguya rastlanmamıştır. Hastaya uygulanan kupa terapisi = wet cupping = Hacamat sonrasında şikayeti dramatik bir şekilde sonlanmıştır. Modern tıbbın yeniden keşfetmeye başladığı bu uygulamalarla ilgili yapılacak bilimsel çalışmalara ve kanıta dayalı bulgularla desteklenecek araştırmalara gerek duyuyoruz.
