When we analyze the percentage distribution of the patients we operated on in 2024 by their countries, I believe and hope that even patients coming from overseas, such as from Australia, Canada, the USA, and Colombia, found their journey and decision for surgery worthwhile. I always strive to do my very best for all my patients. However, while doing so, I always take the possibility of revision into account and make it a priority to preserve the patient’s tissues as much as possible.
After surgery, a patient might not achieve the desired result, which is a possibility every surgeon faces. However, I am confident that if a patient visits another center, no surgeon there will be able to claim that their tissue has been completely damaged or that their surgery was made more difficult because of this. Even if such a claim were made, no evidence, such as a video or photo, could support it.
I do not believe it is right to use any technique or method that would eliminate a patient’s chance to undergo another surgery if they are dissatisfied with the outcome. Achieving a result may be easy, but achieving it while preserving the patient’s tissues is far more challenging. I always choose the harder path because if I were to operate on myself, I would aim to show the same level of care and precision
