✨ Saddle Nose Deformity Rhinoplasty✨

Last week, I operated on a dear patient who had a saddle nose deformity at the tip. She was concerned about how her nose looked from the side, as her nasal tip appeared bulbous. She also had a slight hump, but due to the depth of the supratip area, the hump appeared much more prominent.

She desired a natural, cute and feminine look that would suit her face and overall facial features. 😍

During the surgery, I removed the hump, corrected the supratip area, and refined the nasal tip. As always, I also corrected her septal deviation so she can breathe better than ever.🥳

Lengthening the short ethnic rhinoplasty 🥰

When looking at the results of rhinoplasty, you usually see the results of shortening a long nose. However, each case requires a different approach. As in this example, my patient has a nasal hump and the bulbousness on the tip, but actually a short nose. If only the nasal hump was removed, the nose would not fit the proportions of my patient’s face and would have caused an overly lifted appearance. For this reason, considering her facial features, I made her a nose that is longer than before but is balanced with her facial features, especially when viewed from the side profile, and is more proportional.

Apart from this case, this technique is often used especially in Asian ethnic noses. 🥰
