We have recently observed that several institutions are claiming to have invented the concept of “diamond-cut veneers.” This is a misconception that can be clarified with a single fact: LOVJA introduced this concept to the world for the first time on May 15th, 2024. Therefore, any external publication or presentation of similar designs made after this date, and not originating from LOVJA, represents the dissemination of imitation products.
It should also be noted that LOVJA’s production techniques are strictly protected as trade secrets and are not shared externally under any circumstances.
Furthermore, when examining the technical quality of the so-called “diamond-cut” surfaces presented by others, clear shortcomings become immediately visible—shape inconsistencies, randomly executed patterns, wrinkled surface effects, and irregular optical transitions. All such imitations utilize incorrect methods, making it structurally impossible for them to reach the quality standards established by LOVJA.
At LOVJA, we anticipated that creating a truly unique product would invite imitation attempts. However, presenting these replicas as original innovations and misleading users under the claim of offering an “authentic” product is a practice that conflicts with professional ethics in every culture.
Imitations will always exist; the true difference lies in the unmistakable gap between claim and quality—revealed only through correct technique, precise engineering, and a refined aesthetic philosophy. LOVJA will continue to make this distinction evident through its original design language and uncompromising production standards.
