Cast Removal Day ✨

The first look is always the most emotional moment.

At this stage, mild swelling is completely normal. Even so, the structure and masculine contour we planned together are already visible. The goal was clear from the beginning: a natural, strong profile — balanced, not exaggerated.

As discussed during consultation, rhinoplasty is a process. Over the next week, as the swelling decreases, the definition and details will become much clearer.

A nose that fits the face — not one that draws attention away from it.

Week 1 After Rhinoplasty ✨

At the first-week check, mild swelling is completely expected — especially around the tip and sidewalls. Despite this, the new contour is already visible and harmonious with the patient’s facial proportions.

Our goal is always clear:
✔ Natural appearance
✔ No exaggerated curves
✔ A result that looks as if it has always belonged to the face

As edema continues to resolve over the next few weeks, definition and refinement will become even more apparent.

Not every surgery we perform is aesthetic.
Some are about fighting disease — and protecting life.

This case involves a neck dissection performed for a patient with recurrent head and neck cancer.
The patient had previously undergone surgery followed by radiotherapy. Despite full treatment, the disease recurred in the neck, making further surgical intervention necessary.

Such complex oncologic procedures require not only experience, but also a strong and dedicated surgical team.

Profesör Dr. Ozan Seymen Sezen Ankara’da doğdu. 1993 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun olarak tıp doktoru oldu. Evli ve bir kız çocuk babasıdır.

1996 yılında tıpta uzmanlık sınavını kazanarak Kulak Burun Boğaz Baş ve Boyun Cerrahisi (KBB-BBC) İhtisasına başladı. Uzmanlık eğitimi sırasında kulak, burun, boğaz, boyun ve yüz bölgesinin anatomisi, hastalıkları ve cerrahisi hakkında çalışarak, tecrübe kazandı.1998 yılında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde bu alanda ihtisas veren üniversiteler içinde en iyi eğitim programına sahip kliniklerden biri olarak kabul edilen Michigan Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi KBB-BBC kliniğinde çalıştı.

2000 yılında uzmanlık eğitimini tamamlayarak, Kulak Burun Boğaz Baş ve Boyun Cerrahisi Uzmanı oldu. 2001 yılında, halen çalışmakta olduğu Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi 1. KBB-BBC Kliniğinde Başasistanlık (Eğitici Uzman) görevine başladı. bu görevi sırasında sürekli olarak asistan doktorlara bilimsel, pratik ve cerrahi eğitim vermekte, bunun dışında tıp fakültesi öğrencilerine de KBB-BBC dersleri ve pratik eğitimleri vermektedir.

2007 yılında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ nde, ülkenin burun estetik cerrahisi ve yüz plastik cerrahisi alanındaki önde gelen cerrahlarından, burun estetik cerrahisi ve yüz plastik cerrahisi konusunda eğitim aldı.
