ويُعدّ البروفيسور الدكتور محمد هبرال أول طبيب في العالم أجرى عملية زراعة كبد من متبرع حي إلى مريض حي، وهو إنجاز علمي موثّق أسّس لمرحلة جديدة في تاريخ زراعة الأعضاء على المستوى العالمي.

وتحمل هذه العملية بُعدًا إنسانيًا خاصًا، إذ قدّم أحد الزوجين كليته لشريك حياته، في نموذج يعكس روح التبرع والمسؤولية الأسرية، ضمن إجراء جراحي دقيق نُفّذ بتنسيق عالٍ وتعاون كامل بين الفرق الطبية.

As part of the advanced organ transplantation programs at Başkent Hospital Konya, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal is performing a kidney transplant surgery, continuing his active clinical work in the field of transplant medicine.

Prof. Dr. Haberal is internationally recognized as the first physician in the world to perform a living-donor to living-recipient liver transplantation, a medically documented milestone that marked a new era in organ transplantation worldwide.

This procedure also carries a significant human dimension, as one spouse donated a kidney to their life partner, within a highly coordinated surgical process carried out through strong teamwork and clinical precision.
