2009 yılında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Kulak Burun Boğaz Hastalıkları A.D' nda ihtisas eğitimi görmeye başlayan Op. Fatih Sönmez 2014 yılında uzmanlığını tamamlamış,
2015 yılında ise Londra’da Lewisham Hospital ve Greenwich Hospital'da yüz plastik cerrahisi ile ilgili önemli operasyonlarda gözlemci doktor olarak bulunmuştur. Günümüzde özel muayenehanesinde rinoplasti (burun estetiği), septoplasti, otoplasti (kepçe kulak estetiği) ameliyatlarının yanı sıra, burun ucu estetiği, çene estetiği, göz kapağı estetiği, botoks, dudak dolgusu, çene dolgusu, alerjik hastalıklar, KBB hastalıkları gibi birçok konuda da hastalarına yardımcı olmaktadır.
