Yüz germe sonrası en merak edilen sorulardan biri işlemin kalıcılığı ile ilgili. Genelde plastik cerrahlar postoperative 3. ay, 6. ay ya da 1. yıl fotoğraf paylaşmakla beraber asıl önemli olan uzun dönem sonuçlardır. Bu nedenle postoperatif 5. yıl ve sonrası sonuçları görmek yapılan cerrahinin en öneml başarı kriterlerindendir. Bu hastaya Haziran 2020 yılında derinplan yüzgerme ve beraberinde dört kapak ameliyatı yapmıştım. Haziran 2025 te hala gençleşmenin devam ettiğini görmekteyiz. Tabiki yüzden belirli sarkmalar mevcut çünkü gerildikten sonra da yaşlanma devam etmekte. Ancak 5 yıl sonraki yüzünün, 5 yıl önceye göre daha genç olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. One of the most frequently asked questions after a facelift concerns the longevity of the procedure. While plastic surgeons typically share photos at 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year postoperatively, the most important thing is the long-term results. Yüz gençleştirmede amaç hastaya tek seansta gerekli tüm yapılara müdahale ederek optimal sonucu almaktır. Bu hastaya derin plan yüz germe, derin boyun germe, alt ve üst blefaroplasti, şakak germe yapılmıştır.

One of the most important reasons why I prefer deep plane facelift surgery is that it provides a natural and balanced rejuvenation. If you think your face is aging too much for your age group, your age does not matter to have this surgery. However, this surgery alone is often not enough, it is often insufficient without providing a good neck, a good eyebrow position and the eye area. This patient is in the 6th month postoperatively. In facial rejuvenation, each patient and surgery has its own difficulties. Undoubtedly, the most difficult cases to achieve good results are heavy and short necked patients with small chins. In order to achieve optimal results in these patients, it may be necessary to perform risky maneuvers that require advanced expertise. Deep plane facelift, deep neck lift, temporal lift, lower and upper eyelid blepharoplasty, liplift and buccal fat removal were performed on this patient.

Yüz gençleştirmede her hasta ve ameliyatın kendine göre birtakım zorlukları vardır. Şüphesiz iyi sonuç almanın en zor olduğu vakalar ağır ve kısa boyunlu, küçük çeneli hastalardır. I think the most basic rule in facial rejuvenation is that the rejuvenation should be natural and harmonious. When an outside eye sees a person who has had a facelift, they should not understand that they have had surgery, they should only see that they have gained a younger, fresher and more vibrant look. If it is understood that they have had a facelift, the patient either has very serious scars, or there are malpositions and deformities in the tissues of their face, especially the ear, or an excessive lift has been made only in one part of the face. Therefore, it should always be the aim to intervene in the patient’s face in a single session and to provide holistic rejuvenation with as little visible scars as possible.

Plastik cerrahide before-after paylaşımlar gerçekten çok önemli. Çoğu plastik cerrah bunu uygular ve hastalarda bunu ister. Erken dönem postoperatif sonuçlarda oldukça kıymetli ancak uzun dönem sonuçları görmek çok daha değerlidir. Tabiki zaman geçtikçe her ameliyattan sonra olduğu gibi dokularda gevşemeler ve değişiklikler olur, hiçbir postoperatif sonuç ameliyatın hemen sonrasındaki gibi kalmaz ancak özellikle doğru teknikle yapılan derinplan yüz germe ameliyatı sonrası uzun dönemde de gençleşmenin korunduğunu görmek mümkün. Bu hastada da derinlan yüz germe, boyun germe, bişektomi, blefaroplasti sonrası 15 ay sonra bile çene hattında, boyunda, yanakta ve göz çevresindeki düzelmeleri görmekteyiz.

Before-after sharing is really important in plastic surgery. Most plastic surgeons apply this and want this in their patients. Early postoperative results are also quite valuable, but seeing the long-term results is much more valuable. Of course, as time passes, as after every surgery, there are loosening and changes in the tissues, no result remains the same as immediately after the surgery, but it is possible to see the preservation of rejuvenation in the long term, especially after a deepplane facelift surgery performed with the right technique. In this patient, we see improvements in the jawline, neck, cheeks and eye area even 15 months after the deepplane facelift, necklift, buccal fat removal and blepharoplasty.

36 yaşındaki postbariatrik bu hastamın derin boyun germe aşamasını Türk Plastik Cerrahi Derneği’nin kış sempozyumunda video cerrahi olarak sunmuştum. Çoğu meslektaşım yapılan bu radikal cerrahinin boyun üzerindeki etkisini görmek için postoperatif sonucunu görmek istediğini söyledi. Ağır boyunlu hastalarda derin boyun redüksiyonunun önemini ve doğru teknikle yapılınca ne kadar etkili olduğunu bu hasta örneğinde görebiliyoruz. Bu hastaya derinplan yüz germe, derin boyun germe, temporallift ve alt göz kapağı ameliyatı yapılmıştır.

I presented the deep neck lift of this 36-year-old post-bariatric patient of mine as a video surgery at the Turkish Plastic Surgery Association Winter Symposium. Most of my colleagues said they wanted to see the postoperative results of this radical surgery to see its effect on the neck. We can see the importance of deep neck reduction in patients with heavy necks and how effective it is when done with the right technique in this patient example. This patient underwent a deepplane facelift, deep necklift, temporal lift and lower eyelid surgery.

Yüz gençleştirme ile uğraşan bir plastik cerrah olarak en büyük amacım yaptığım ameliyatta optimal sonuçlar elde etmektir. Bunun için iki çok önemli kuralım var; birincisi hastanın yüzüyle ilgili neye ihtiyacı varsa tek seansta kombine ameliyat yapmak, ikincisi ise daha iyi sonuç elde etmek için gerekli manevraların zorluğuna bakmaksızın en etkilisini uygulamak. Bu hastaya derin plan yüzgerme, kaş kaldırma, alt ve üst göz kapağı ameliyatı, liplift, bişektomi ve derin boyun germe yapılmıştır. Özellikle boyunda bu şekilde etkili sonuç almak için bazı radikal ve uzmanlık isteyen manevralardan kaçınmamak gerekir.

As a plastic surgeon who is interested with facial rejuvenation, my biggest goal is to achieve optimal results in the surgery I perform. I have two very important rules for this; the first is to perform a combined surgery in a single session for whatever the patient needs regarding their face, and the second is to apply the most effective maneuvers to achieve better results regardless of their difficulty. This patient underwent a deepplane facelift, temporallift, lower and upper eyelid surgery, liplift, bichectomy and deep necklift. In order to achieve such effective results, especially in the neck, some radical and expert maneuvers should not be avoided.

Haftasonu, yüz estetiği ile ilgili 3. kadavra kursumuzu Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi’nde gerçekleştirdik. Diğerlerinden farklı olarak bu kursumuzda, ülkemizdeki plastik cerrahi uzmanı meslektaşlarımız dışında, yurtdışından da katılımcı birçok plastik cerrah meslektaşımız vardı. Hem bilimsel içeriği, hem öğreticiliği hem de sosyal programı çok iyi bir kursu daha geride bıraktık. Her zamanki gibi hem tecrübelerimizi paylaştık hem de birbirimizin tecrübelerinden faydalandık. Eğitmen olarak katıldığım bu kursta alanı ile ilgili kadavra diseksiyonu yaparak katkı vermeye çalıştım. Yurt içinden ve dışından gelen birçok meslektaşımla samimi bir ortamda bilgi alışverişinde bulunduk ve harika vakit geçirdik. Başından beri bize toplantıları kapsamında özveri ile mentorluk yapan hocama, her zamanki gibi güzel İzmir’de bizi harika ağırlayan kıymetli hocama, tüm arkadaşlarıma ve meslektaşlarıma teşekkür ederim. Yüz estetiğine gönül veren ve mesaisinin önemli bir kısmını bu alanda harcayan abilerim ve kardeşlerimle bu bayrağı ileriye taşımaya çok kararlıyız.

On the weekend, we had our 3rd cadaver course on facial aesthetics at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital. Unlike the others, in this course, in addition to our plastic surgery colleagues from our country, there were also many plastic surgeon colleagues from abroad. We left behind another course with very good scientific content, educational and social program. As always, we both shared our experiences and benefited from each other’s experiences. In this course, which I attended as an instructor, I tried to contribute by performing cadaver dissections related to the field of . We exchanged information with many colleagues from home and abroad in a friendly environment and had a great time. I would like to thank my instructor , who has been a devoted mentor to us since the beginning within the scope of meetings, my valuable instructor , who hosted us wonderfully in beautiful Izmir as always, and all my friends and colleagues.

This 36-year-old postbariatric patient underwent deep neck reduction (submandibular gland excision, digastric reduction, deep fat excision), deepplane facelift, bichectomia and temporal lift. Optimal results can be achieved in young patients with appropriate indications.

36 yaşındaki postbariatrik bu hastaya derin boyun redüksiyonu (submandibular gland eksizyonu, digastrik redüksiyonu, derin yağ eksizyonu), derinplan yüzgerme, bişektomş ve temporallift yapılmıştır. Genç hastalarda uygun endikasyonla optimal sonuçlar almak mümkün.
