Advanced Vascular & Vein Specialist Clinic is a new facility, led by Dr. Adedapo Oladiran, MBBS, FRCS(England); FACS (USA), Vascular & endovascular Fellowship, Albany (USA). Dr. Oladiran is a graduate of the University of Ibadan in Nigeria where he studied medicine and surgery. He began his career in Medicine in 2003 and furthered his General Surgery education by attaining a Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in England. He subsequently specialized at Albany Medical Centre, New York where he trained as a Fellow in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery. He leads the clinic with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We provide excellence in vascular medicine and surgery. We also provide general surgery services, wound care management, limb restoration and salvage.

Another foot saved. Patient with non-healing wound after having amputation at a different facility came to us to get help. We assessed her leg and realized that lack of blood flow is the cause of her poor wound healing. We performed an angiogram and an angioplasty to improve blood flow to her leg first, followed by wound care.

September is Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) awareness month. This week we focus on the effects of PAD on the lower limbs.
Calf pain , pain in the foot at rest, ulcers and gangrene which can ultimately lead to amputation, are some of the symptoms of PAD.
