YOGA FOR FIBROMYALGIA
We asked our client to give us a review after we saw the significant improvement in her ability to move through her sessions and her marked improvement in mood and energy. She laughed more, recovered faster and was just happier! When she walked into our doors, she was in acute pain and emotionally exhausted. Her 1 month program consisted of 2 sessions per week of therapeutic yoga, lots of breathing and mindfulness exercises, yoga nidra and reiki.

“Like many of us, when it comes to physical activity, I struggle with finding a balance between doing too much and too little. This is particularly difficult in the face of the chronic widespread musculoskeletal pain caused by my fibromyalgia. Of course stress does not help, and my emotional and mental state inevitably impacts my physical pain. Pain is not only frustrating but extremely exhausting.
Ahimsa Wellness Yoga Therapy and Reiki Center is now a bright spot in my journey to "Sweet Relief" in restoring a healthy mind, body and spirit. After just a month of twice weekly yoga practice with a very revealing Reiki session, I am now experiencing significantly less pain, greater mindfulness and energy. I am grateful and truly excited about the results and this process of regaining balance in a holistic way. I have much to learn but the care and guidance of my yoga instructor, also named Ayanna;-), is leading me to a more conscious and purposeful response to life, filled with positive affirmations.
